Why I Hate Soccer
I'm gonna get tarred and feathered for this I just know it.
I won't pretend here, like so many World Cup crazed fake American soccer fans do. I'll admit, I watched the USA play England and I watched the USA play Ghana. Not because I like to watch the sport, but simply because I like to see America succeed on the world stage. Kind of like how I watch the Olympics. Half of the sports are snoozefests but I like to see Americans win. Now that the USA is out, soccer is out for me! And thank god!
90+ minutes of watching a bunch of guys run around like chickens with their heads cut off and flopping at any brush of contact like a fish out of water. It's worse than the NBA. Much, much worse! Then you have that incessant beehive a-buzzing away from start to finish. Really, I'm almost glad the USA got beat by Ghana so I'm not tempted to watch the games anymore.
The rest of the world can have futbol. This arrogant American will stick with good old fashioned baseball and American football.

This weekend we saw a brash display of defiance and unruliness from the leftists in Canada: a diverse collection of abortion rights activists, gay rights activists, anti-Capitalists, and anarcho-leftists.
Talk about Berkeley-esque.

Professor in Pakistan beaten by mob for refusing to convert to Islam. Praise Allah!

Christian Professor in Pakistan Beaten for Refusing to Convert
Christian Professor in Pakistan Beaten for Refusing to Convert
Muslim students attacked a Christian professor at the University of Peshawar this month after he refused their demand to convert to Islam, the instructor told Compass.“I shouted for help, but no one came to help,” he said.
Psychology professor Samuel John, a father of four who has been teaching at the university in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province for 12 years, said that as he came out of his house on the university campus at 8:30 a.m. on June 14, about 20 to 25 students rushed and assaulted him.
When his wife learned what was happening, she ran to help him, but the students beat her as well. Both John and his wife were rushed to Lady Reading hospital, where they were treated for their injuries, with John listed in critical condition.
“I am still getting threats,” the professor told Compass. “They say, ‘Leave the university or accept Islam – if you don’t convert, we will kill your family.”
Police have refused to register a First Information Report on the incident, he said.
A group of five students had visited John on May 15, he said.
“They said, ‘Professor, you are a good teacher and a good human being, please convert to Islam and we will provide you with everything you need,’” John said. “I was surprised and said, ‘Why do you want me to convert? I am a Christian, and Jesus Christ is my Savior – He provides me with everything.”
One of the students became angry, saying, “Don’t forget that you are a family man,” John said. “I said, ‘I am not scared of anyone, God will protect me and my family.’”
He reported the matter to the dean of the University of Peshawar, but the official was unable to take any action because the Islamic students councils are supported by political parties and powerful Islamic groups, the professor said.
My Preparation for Independence Day
The 4th of July is my favorite holiday of the year. Not just the patriotism and love of country, but the whole atmosphere. Grilling out, vacation time, warm weather, the height of baseball season; the whole summer mantra. And of course, how could I forget fireworks!

A long awaited Hack Wilson newsreel.
It's been a while since we've done one of these. Let's see what we can find...
The Taliban has officially endorsed General McChrystal's replacement, General David Petraeus, saying he "is not smarter" than McChrystal. We'll see about that.
A Cape Cod school district is under fire for a policy that allows handing out free condoms to elementary school students. Not only that, but parents of children requesting condoms are not allowed to be notified. Liberal America, at its finest!
A Jewish dance group in Germany had stones hurled at them by a group of unruly teenagers. No, they were not neo-Nazis. They were....can you guess? MUSLIMS. Of course.
The Blackhawks and Cubs have decided to make an appearance in the Chicago Gay Pride parade. I just have one question. WHY?
A Planned Parenthood (Murderers R Us) sex ed demonstration at an Iowa high school that featured graphic sex acts and correct condom placement with a fake you know what has parents pissed off. And rightfully so! Just think, your tax dollars funded this!
Amid World Cup fan fervor, the Mexican flag is being proudly displayed throughout the entire city of Los Angeles, Mexico.
The Iranians have pussed out after vowing to send more aid boats to Gaza. Apparently they don't want to deal with the Israeli blockade now...
PETA has offered to help rebuild the Jesus statue that was destroyed by lightning last week, as long as it bears a vegan message. Church says no thanks.

Wicked Asian Carp
Single Asian carp found 6 miles from Lake Michigan
For those of you not familiar with Asian carp, let this Illinoisan enlighten you. I have had first hand encounters with this fish here on the Illinois river and I can tell you they are some of the most wicked fish in the world. The bastards attack anything that moves on the surface of the water, many times jumping clear out of the water at you while you're on the boat. A few people have been killed because they've been hit so hard. Not only that, but they eat, and eat, and eat, and eat. These things have already taken over the entire river and if they get into Lake Michigan, there is no stopping them.
Just to give you an idea of how vicious the carp are here's a perfect example:
An Asian carp was found for the first time beyond electric barriers meant to keep the voracious invasive species out of the Great Lakes, state and federal officials said Wednesday, prompting renewed calls for swift action to block their advance.
Commercial fishermen landed the 3-foot-long, 20-pound bighead carp in Lake Calumet on Chicago's South Side, about six miles from Lake Michigan, according to the Asian Carp Regional Coordinating Committee.
Officials said they need more information to determine the significance of the find.
"The threat to the Great Lakes depends on how many have access to the lakes, which depends on how many are in the Chicago waterway right now," said John Rogner, assistant director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
But environmental groups said the discovery leaves no doubt that other Asian carp have breached barriers designed to prevent them from migrating from the Mississippi River system to the Great Lakes and proves the government needs to act faster.
"If the capture of this live fish doesn't confirm the urgency of this problem, nothing will," said Andy Buchsbaum, director of the National Wildlife Federation's Great Lakes office.

Algerian star Rafik Saifi slaps female reporter after World Cup loss to United States
Algeria star slaps female reporter
I wonder if him being a Muslim has anything to do with it? I mean, women should be treated like animals right? What a sissy. I'm glad she hit him back.
South Africa – Algeria soccer star Rafik Saifi slapped a female journalist across the face as the aftermath of the United States’ dramatic World Cup victory turned ugly at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Wednesday night.
While walking through the interview zone, Saifi spotted writer Asma Halimi, who works for Algerian newspaper Competition, and struck her with his open hand in front of dozens of witnesses. Halimi responded by striking the player in the mouth.
Saifi then threw a sports drink bottle at a wall in the interview area, as Halimi was ushered away by security staff.
Saifi came on as substitute for the last five minutes of the USA’s 1-0 victory.
“I said nothing to him and he reached over and hit me,” Halimi said to Yahoo! Sports. “So I hit him back. I said nothing to him first.”
I wonder if him being a Muslim has anything to do with it? I mean, women should be treated like animals right? What a sissy. I'm glad she hit him back.
McChrystal: Why did he do it?
The recent bombshell in Rolling Stones magazine featuring General Stanley McChrystal's harsh words for the Obama administration really has me puzzled.
The general had a reason and a motive for such actions. Military commanders do not just let their opinions fly, especially in a time of war. And soldiers in general are taught to avoid the media.
So why did he do it?
Only two things come to mind. One, he wanted to lose his job because he is burnt out from a variety of factors entailing the job of top commander in Afghanistan, one of which is the Obama administration's continual lack of interest or cooperation. Two, that his convictions regarding the Obama administration and said neglect are so strong that he would willingly risk his job so that the deserving American public would know the truth.
It is outrageous really. Just think back to 2009, which showed the highest number of US casualties since the war started and Obama didn't even bat an eyelash! General McChrystal had to tug on King Obama's pantleg just to get him to recognize the war. If you'll recall, McChrystal voiced his opinions last year as well. Of course that didn't go over well with the boy king. Now we have round two, and it will likely cost the General his job.
My favorite excerpt?
My favorite excerpt?
The general first encountered Obama a week after he took office, when the president met with a dozen senior military officials in a room at the Pentagon known as the Tank. According to sources familiar with the meeting, McChrystal thought Obama looked "uncomfortable and intimidated" by the roomful of military brass. Their first one-on-one meeting took place in the Oval Office four months later, after McChrystal got the Afghanistan job, and it didn't go much better. "It was a 10-minute photo op," says an adviser to McChrystal. "Obama clearly didn't know anything about him, who he was. Here's the guy who's going to run his f-----g war, but he didn't seem very engaged. The Boss was pretty disappointed."
There was a motive behind this. A man like General Stanley McChrystal doesn't criticize his superiors in random interviews just for the hell of it. Maybe he just hates Obama.
A salute to you General!

Jerry Seinfeld slams prostitute Lady Gaga
Jerry Seinfeld Calls Lady Gaga A 'Jerk' After Mets Game Behavior
By now I'm sure you all have already heard about Lady blah blah's disgusting and classless appearance at the Mets Yankees game.
Here's what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about it.
Good for him. Bout time someone called out that gutter slime.
By now I'm sure you all have already heard about Lady blah blah's disgusting and classless appearance at the Mets Yankees game.
Here's what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about it.
Gaga stirred up headlines when she appeared at the June 10 baseball game in a befuddling outfit (a leather jacket draped over a black bikini) and held court from her front-row seat. When fans and photogs noticed her presence, they began snapping shots of the pop star. Gaga was not in a pic-taking mood, however, and started giving the flashbulbs the finger and moved to a private box to escape the attention. Turns out, the box belongs to Seinfeld.
"You give people the finger and you get upgraded? Is that the world we're living in now?" Seinfeld sounded off in an interview with WFAN radio, the New York Post reports. "This woman is a jerk. I hate her. I can't believe they put her in my box, which I paid for."
Seinfeld also added that he didn't know that the pop star usurped his box until he showed up later on for a night game.
"I don't know what these young people think or how they promote their careers," said Seinfeld, slamming the diva's rowdy antics. "I'm not one of these all-publicity-is-good people. People talk about 'You need exposure' — you could die of exposure."
Good for him. Bout time someone called out that gutter slime.

An analysis of Progressive Insurance commercials
Before we delve into the absolute ridiculousness of Progressive commercials first a little background on Peter Lewis, the former CEO of Progressive, current Chairman of the Board, and son of the original founder.
According to Wikipedia, Lewis has made massive donations to extreme leftist groups including the ACLU, Moveon.org, TRACTION, America Coming Together, and the greatest leftist extremist group, the Democratic Party.
You can see what side of the political spectrum this kook is on, and it echoes in Progressive's whacked out commercials featuring the crackwhore we know of as "Flo". In nearly every Progressive commercial featuring a male, the man is portrayed as feminine, only all too fitting in the progressives' view of "sexual equality" and "gender relativity" coupled with the modern day feminist movement. Just have a look at these ads and you can see the subtle, and sometimes blatant, PROGRESSIVE agenda.
The woman in charge with her weakling husband following her around like a cute puppy.
Just a typical latte sipping liberal weakling.
A teenage girl in a man's body.
I don't need to add anything here.
Am I being too nitpicky? No. This is a political agenda embedded into the ads of a left wing company, and that's all there is to it.

Dearborn Hosts Arab International Festival
More than 300,000 people from across the country and Canada are expected to attend the Arab International Festival in Dearborn June 18-20.Carnival rides. Live music. Mediterranean food. Hot dog eating contests. Sounds like fun! Maybe I'll go next year and hope I don't get arrested for being Caucasian, as that might cause a disturbance within the Arab crowd.
The 15th annual festival will transform 14 blocks of Warren Avenue between Schaefer and Wyoming into the largest Arab-American celebration in the nation.
Attractions include carnival rides, live music and authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
Free passes to the new IMAX theater experience "Arabia" now showing at the Detroit Science Center, will be given away at the festival.
Leo's Coney Island in Dearborn will sponsor a Halal hot dog eating contest and will offer cash prizes to those who eat the most hot dogs.
The first ever "International Idol Contest" sponsored by Four Star Health will be held on June 19 beginning at 1 p.m. on the main adult stage.
When the footage is released it will be posted here.
ABC's The Gates and 21st century America trendwhoring
Oh what interesting times we live in. A country driven by mass conformity, pop culture, and the herd mentality where the average teen could tell you more about the latest Twilight book, Justin Beiber song, or Lady Gaga outfit than what current legislation is being passed through Congress.
Today's trend? Vampires. I quick glance at Google Trends a while ago had ABC's new show The Gates taking the number 6,7, and 10 spots.
Well isn't that a surprise. Yet another Vampire drama, with a saucy mix of gore/murder and erotica to entertain the minds of the youth.
Why are people so obsessed with vampires these days in America? Is it the gore? The sexuality? It sickens me. What's it gonna be next year? Cannibals?

President Barack Obama disgraces fatherhood
http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/presidential-proclamation-fathers-day
From the first moments of life, the bond forged between a father and a child is sacred. Whether patching scraped knees or helping with homework, dads bring joy, instill values, and introduce wonders into the lives of their children. Father's Day is a special time to honor the men who raised us, and to thank them for their selfless dedication and love.
Fathers are our first teachers and coaches, mentors and role models. They push us to succeed, encourage us when we are struggling, and offer unconditional care and support. Children and adults alike look up to them and learn from their example and perspective. The journey of fatherhood is both exhilarating and humbling it is an opportunity to model who we want our sons and daughters to become, and to build the foundation upon which they can achieve their dreams.
Fatherhood also carries enormous responsibilities. An active, committed father makes a lasting difference in the life of a child. When fathers are not present, their children and families cope with an absence government cannot fill. Across America, foster and adoptive fathers respond to this need, providing safe and loving homes for children facing hardships. Men are also making compassionate commitments outside the home by serving as mentors, tutors, or big brothers to young people in their community. Together, we can support the guiding presence of male role models in the lives of countless young people who stand to gain from it.
Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step father, a grandfather, or caring guardian. We owe a special debt of gratitude for those parents serving in the United States Armed Forces and their families, whose sacrifices protect the lives and liberties of all American children. For the character they build, the doors they open, and the love they provide over our lifetimes, all our fathers deserve our unending appreciation and admiration.
The first sentence in bold gives you a good idea of where Barack Obama's stance on the government's role is. Of course, we all know he views government as the solution to everything. We know he is a statist/socialist. We know his views on government intrusion into individual lives would cause the Founding Fathers to rebel right here and now if they were alive today. But read the statement and you can see the context with which he uses the word government. To even somehow insinuate that the role of government is even close to the role of a father in a child's life, even the tiniest fraction of similarity, is an abomination and a disgrace to fatherhood and the celebration of Fathers Day. I swear, this guy ticks me off more each day. How dare he even put the two in the same sentence, as if their responsibilities are somehow on the same level? They aren't even close, but what else would you expect from a tyrant?
Now look at the second sentence I put in bold, which degrades fatherhood even more. This is what I hate about leftists. They speak in terms of relativity when it comes to everything. In this case, the traditional role of the father is under attack. With this sentence riddled with relativist bullsh-t, the boy king has degraded the role of the father even more. To put the father married to the mother in the same EXACT category as 2 gay men is not just appalling, it is downright evil. I am not here to bash gays, but I will say this: Two gays/lesbians raising a child is child abuse. It is a grave sin. To even suggest that the mother/father relationship to a young child is the same as the father/father relationship to a young child is just inconceivable, disgusting, and revolting. Left wing relativism at its very, very finest. Obama has become a master of it. It's how he got into the White House.
Barack Obama is, and always will be, a disgrace to this country. Tell me, where was your father Barack?

New Al Qaida video mocks Obama, threatens Americans, and outlines steps towards peace...
Al Qaeda's American-born spokesman appears in new video making demands for peace, attacking Obama
My take? Well let's just say its moments like this when I really wish I was president. My dear, dear Adam. Here's what I would do. I would withdraw all combat troops from the Middle East. Then, I would issue an ultimatum saying if America is attacked by Al Qaida or any other Islamic terrorist group, a 1.2 megaton B83 nuclear warhead will be dropped right in the heart of Mecca. No, this is no joke. I would do it. And I would smile while I say it to the Muslim world. I guarantee you, Muslims would think twice about launching any sort of attack on the United States. All other Western nations should issue the same ultimatum. Then again, that's just too damn simple.
Al Qaeda's American-born spokesman appeared in a new video Sunday, the Associated Press reports, calling Barack Obama "devious, evasive and serpentine" and rattling off a laundry list of the terror group's conditions for peace with America.Holger Awakens already posted his take on this delightful video, saying we are already beginning to meet such demands!
Adam Gadahn, who is wanted by the U.S. government for treason, called on Obama to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, end support for Israel, cease involvement in the affairs of Muslims, and free Muslim prisoners, reports the AP -- the same demands Al Qaeda made in 2007 to President George W. Bush.
CNN reports that the terrorist mouthpiece had harsh words for Obama in the 24 minute message, calling him "nothing more than another treacherous, bloodthirsty and narrow-minded American war President."
Gadahn also warned Sunday of future attacks that would kill more Americans than before. "It becomes crystal-clear that we haven't even begun to even the score," he said, according to the AP. "Next time, we might not show the restraint and self-control we have shown up until now."

To those who hate America...
...and everything about it: Please feel free to move to a place without refrigeration, toilet paper, heating and air conditioning, photography, dishwashers, washing machines, electric fans, zippers, remote control, airplanes, flashlights, windshield wipers, electricity, grocery stores, deodorant, microwaves, cell phones, credit cards, satellite, compact discs, calculators, computers, internet, email, GPS, and digital cameras.
Please just shut up before I backhand you to the face. I'm sick of hearing people say how terrible America is.

New Numbers from Rasmussen
Well isn't this a shocker. 56% of Americans oppose the federal government's decision to challenge Arizona's immigration law that, um, mirrors that of the, um, federal government. Not quite sure how that one works.
Either way, I'm ecstatic to hear this news. Yet another nail in the Democrats' collective coffin (no pun intended).
Here are the latest election poll numbers.
Republican John Boozman leads Dem Blanche Lincoln 61 to 32 in Arkansas.
Republican Sharron Angle leads Dirty Harry 50 to 39 in Nevada.
Democrat Barbara Bitchly Boxer leads Republican Carly Fiorina 48 to 43 in Cali.
Republican Charles Grassley leads Democrat Roxanne Conlin 54 to 37 in Iowa.
General Congressional Ballot: GOP 46 DNC 36
I'm thinking Carly Fiorina could use a boost. Next Ten Buck Fridays candidate anyone?

Muslim employees sue company because they were prohibited from praying 5 times a day...
That's right. Religious discrimination they are calling it. It has nothing to do with maximizing production and making money. Those insensitive, intolerant, and of course bigoted execs at Celestica/Adecco obviously hate Muslims.
Maybe the company should provide free Q'urans and prayer rugs next to each machine in the plant. Maybe they should paint "All Praise to Allah" in Arabic on the sides of the fork trucks. Pretty soon we will have some uptight flimsy Democrats passing a law mandating companies allow such time to accommodate Muslim employees. And it will be money down the drain. Who wants to pay an employee who stops working 5 times a day to pray? In addition to bathroom and lunch breaks?
Muslims are really special. Don't you think?
In the case, twenty Muslims formerly employed by Celestica and/or Adecco in a manufacturing plant in Arden Hills claim they were victims of religious discrimination.
As Muslims, the Plaintiffs' most important religious obligation is to perform short prayers five times each day. Prior to the spring of 2005, the Plaintiffs were permitted to take these short prayer breaks. However, the Plaintiffs allege that beginning in the spring of 2005, they were prohibited from praying at the necessary times. The Plaintiffs also contend that although they were not allowed to take short prayer breaks, others were routinely allowed to take bathroom or smoke breaks. The Plaintiffs assert that Defendants knew about and failed to accommodate their religious obligation. Also, Plaintiffs contend that Defendants either terminated them or forced them to resign in the fall and winter of 2005 due to the conflict between their religious obligation and Defendants' new break rules.

This is what happens when the Lakers win
Bonfires and fights break out near arena after Lakers win
Every time the Lakers win this happens. You don't see this type of bullcrap with any other team. Why is it only the Lakers?
The Lakers, in my opinion, are the most despicable professional sports team in America. I have held this opinion ever since 2000, when the National Basketball Association decided in all its infinite wisdom to officially back the LA Lakers as their favorite, thus receiving favorable calls on the court and bringing in lots of money from Los Angeles's market. I hate the Lakers, always have. And why? First of all, I hate their fans. Keep in mind, this isn't a mass indictment of all Laker fans but based upon observation the majority of Lakers fans are a smattering of celebrity trash, stuck up California citizenry, and overall ghetto thuggery (see story above). One can only assume illegal immigrants make up a large portion of the fanbase, which makes it all the worse. Just look at the photos of the riots. Secondly, the Los Angeles Lakers have been virtually handed at least two of their championships that I can think of. First was in 2000, when the Portland Trailblazers had a 15 point lead in the 4th quarter over the Lakers and the officiating down the stretch was absolutely, without question in favor of LA. I remember it like it was yesterday. Second was in 2002, with the infamous series against Sacramento. I won't go into detail. I'll only say that I knew the games were rigged by crooked NBA officials ever since watching that travesty, which had me literally screaming at the TV nearly the entire series. The Los Angeles Lakers crushed my love for basketball after the glorious Micheal Jordan era in Chicago. I was in love with the NBA. I was in love with the sport. Then the David Stern backed Lakers came along.
The 21st century Lakers are a disgusting, despicable excuse for an organization. Why is it that only Laker fans beat people and destroy property after they win? It happened in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, and now 2010. You never saw Spurs fans rioting. Or Heat fans. Or Celtics fans. Why? Because their fanbase is made up of gangbangers and ghetto thugs, which makes them winning all the more sickening.
The Fakers can have their crooked championship. And they can continue to show the world just how classy they are.
No wonder everyone hates the Lakers.

Crowds of rowdy revelers poured into the streets around Staples Center after Game 7 of the NBA finals on Thursday night, rocking cars, setting bonfires and throwing rocks and bottles at officers.
Nine people had been arrested for public intoxication, vandalism and inciting a riot, but that number was expected to rise, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Mary Grady said.
"As the crowds left the area, we had some groups that decided to celebrate irresponsibly," she said. "We have certain groups who are starting to cause problems. We are immediately deploying officers where they are needed most."
Television news footage showed several people jumping on a taxi as it attempted to leave the area after the Los Angeles Lakers' 83-79 win over the Boston Celtics. Someone opened a rear door of the vehicle while others rocked it back and forth. The taxi eventually made its way through the crowd and out of the area.
Television footage also showed a man being beaten and a car set on fire. And there were scattered reports of windows being broken at several businesses.
Some men ran shirtless in the street, while other people revved car engines and honked their horns in celebration. Broken glass and burnt debris lined the roads.
The Los Angeles Fire Department said several people were treated for injuries outside the arena. The number and extent of the injuries was not know.

You think taxes are high now?
Just wait until Crap and Trade passes, Obamacare takes effect, and the Bush tax cuts expire. To all (naive, irrational, gullible, misled; there's all kinds of adjectives we can throw in here) people who think supporting fuzzy wuzzy liberal collectivist causes, such as "free healthcare for all" as they like to call it, and a "green jobs" energy bill, is totally 100% without consequence, you are like a sheep being lead to the slaughter. And you're taking all of us with you!
Obamacare moved The United States of America into the realm of socialism officially on March 21st, 2010 and placed an insurmountable burden of debt upon our future generations, all in the name of helping our fellow man. You just wait until 2014 when we are hit with a Value Added Tax (VAT) to pay for such misguided lunacy. At the beginning of next year, the Bush tax cuts will expire, adding even more taxes to the burdened American people. And when the Cap and Trade bill passes, it will be the last straw, I'm convinced of that. I'm no economist, and I'm no Harvard scholar, but I am a human being, and I have a brain with a cerebral cortex that allows me to reason based upon objective facts, something the government obviously cannot do. (ahh if only we had a government run by Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman.) And what I reason is that if Cap and Trade passes, there is no doubt we are done for.
Last night I read a post from the Conservative Lady regarding Arthur Laffer's theory that the US economy will collapse totally in 2011. Talk about sobering. Just look at these numbers:
Factor in the cost of Cap and Trade ($1,761 per year for each family according to the Obama administration) , Obamacare (around $8,000 per year per family), and the Value Added Tax and we are looking at a full fledged statist/socialist America on the road to full collapse.
Oh and by the way, our entire treasury is owned by China, and our nation is 13 trillion dollars in debt and growing.
Now think and reason here. Does this look like a sustainable path?

On or about Jan. 1, 2011, federal, state and local tax rates are scheduled to rise quite sharply. President George W. Bush's tax cuts expire on that date, meaning that the highest federal personal income tax rate will go to 39.6% from 35%, the highest federal dividend tax rate pops up to 39.6% from 15%, the capital gains tax rate to 20% from 15%, and the estate tax rate to 55% from zero.

Muslim scumbags protest as British troops return home. Must see.
Via Mind Numbed Robot.
From the UK Daily Mail...
Some more raw footage...
Some angry old Brits...
And here's footage of a similar incident last year...
I'm just guessing, but I think the Brits have about had it up to here with Islam. Oh how I wish I could have been with them on those streets.
From the UK Daily Mail...
Screaming hate and brandishing vile placards, Muslim extremists and far-Right groups clashed yesterday in ugly scenes that marred a parade by soldiers.I think it's just fabulous some people stood up to these bastard children spawned from the deathcult of Islam. Here's some raw footage of the incident. I'm warning you, it will make your blood boil.
Around 40 members of a group called Muslims Against the Crusades (MAC) arrived with inflammatory banners featuring slogans such as 'Butchers return' and 'What are you dying for? £18k'.
They were soon confronted by 100 people, some wearing English Defence League T-shirts, who shouted 'scum' and 'Muslim bombers off our streets'.
Police, who had received intelligence warning of trouble at the march in Barking, Essex, separated the groups behind barriers on opposite sides of the road.
But violence flared after 200 soldiers from 1st Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment - who lost five men in a recent tour of Afghanistan and had been granted freedom of the borough - marched past thousands of well-wishers.
MAC supporters shouted slogans such as 'murderers, murderers' and 'British troops go to hell', while the mainly white crowd opposite, some of whom are believed to have been BNP supporters, threw frozen pork sausages and chanted 'scum' and 'Allah, Allah, who the f*** is Allah?'

10 Buck Fridays.
I headed on over to Left Coast Rebel this morning and read this...
Hack Wilson and troops, reporting for duty!
Spread the word. Let's make a bold statement.
One of the things I love about the New Media is how quickly news and information can explode. A meritorious idea or an interesting politician can emerge to prominence literally overnight, even from the most obscure corners of the electronic jungle.
Wandering aimlessly through the digital thicket, I recently stumbled across an idea that I believe deserves to go viral: Ten Buck Fridays.
Conceived over at Conscientiously Conservative, the idea is to encourage like-minded conservatives to give $10 per week (until election day) to principled conservative candidates who need help:
Ten Buck Fridays started today for me. I donated $10 to Teresa Collett's campaign for 4th Congressional District in Minnesota. Many of us get paid on Fridays... if we bring a sack lunch a couple of times a week to work, right there is an extra tenner. What if conservatives donated $10 each and every week up through November to viable candidates and/or PAC's that are promoting a conservative agenda? If you can't afford every week, what about twice a month? Or once a month? Conservatives need to put their money where their mouth is. Commit to Ten Buck Fridays... it WILL make a difference come November!
This is simply brilliant. Think of the idea as an informal PAC.
I'd like to try to get more conservatives on board, not only to participate, but also to help promote this idea. Remember, this is completely informal: no middlemen. Everyone is urged to voluntarily give a small (or large) amount on a weekly basis directly to the candidate of their choice.
Tinkering around with the idea, I thought it would be helpful to organize the effort by crowdsourcing the question of which candidates to support.
Each Sunday, deserving candidates will be nominated. Polling through the next several days will determine the crowd favorite...and on Friday, a good conservative will be hit with a grassroots money bomb!
Imagine what a thousand conservatives could accomplish in unison. Ten thousand dollars a week would grab a lot of attention and could help some candidates who really need it.
To ensure that the money bomb is duly noted by the recipients, I'd also like to encourage participants to label their contribution "Ten Bucks Fridays" in online donation forms.
LCR, MNR, RK and CC are all on board. Will you join us?
Hack Wilson and troops, reporting for duty!

Wal Mart: The Freak Show
I took a little late night trip to Wal Mart tonight for a few odds and ends, halfway expecting to see some kind of ridiculousness that would provide material for a blog post. Low and behold, my prediction came true.
I had not even set foot into the store 30 seconds when I was approached by a giddy woman in her late 40s I would guess, along with two younger girls. They started chattering away to me about conducting some survey on why people venture into Wal Mart late at night. The woman said she was an author so I was a little excited at first. They acted halfway normal, until I began to notice her rambling away nonstop about everything from a stuffed squirrel that came to life to stuffing children in a plastic bag. Yeah....my thoughts exactly. The "discussion" (me smiling uncontrollably while she chattered away) ended with the woman giving me her number on her "business" card (a Mary Kay card) and telling me to call her so we could "meet up for some margaritas and share stories."
Unbelievable. I swear, Wal Mart brings out the most loony of the loons in humanity.

How Obama got elected in 2 minutes and 44 seconds.
Listen to the cries of the Obamabotus Imbecilius in the wild!
Ahhh, I love it! This video has it all. You got your raaaaaaaacist complex, support for open borders AKA the end of America, redistribution of wealth, and guzzling of welfare (which Savior Obama pays for out of his own pocket of course, with help from illegal aliens) and overall lack of basic intelligence.
What a perfect specimen!

High school teachers hold anti war signs...during ceremony honoring graduates going into the military!
While perusing the news and blogs this morning, I stumbled upon this little liberal brown stain.
Teachers' anti-war message draws fire
These teachers are scumbags. I have no problem with voicing dissent, or being vocal in political opinion. But this was in extremely bad taste, and not only that, but incredibly demeaning to those students choosing to go into the military. That said, some strange part of me actually sees their point of view. As a soldier recruited straight out of high school, I am against military recruiting in high schools 100%. I also believe the minimum age to serve should be raised from 17 to 19 for combat related MOS's. I know from personal experience. Nonetheless, I support these students for choosing to serve. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Teachers' anti-war message draws fire
Some students are calling for the firing of two Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School teachers who held an anti-war sign during a school assembly Friday. This right here is proof that, while the anti-war left may argue the contrary, their opposition to the war is coupled with hatred for the military and those who serve in it. These teachers should be fired. Not only for displaying their political views on school grounds during school hours, but at a ceremony honoring the decision some students made to serve their country? How grotesquely unnecessary and insulting! They should have been fired the moment they held those signs up, and barred from teaching for life. What's sad about this whole thing? They are simply doing what hundreds of college professors do daily, just in a more vocal and open way. Which is more dangerous?
History teacher Marybeth Verani and English teacher Adeline Koscher made their silent protest during the part of the assembly in which school officials recognized graduating seniors who are entering the military.
"They not only imposed their political will, they imposed it at the wrong time," said D-Y junior Andrew Bowles Jr., who organized an after-school protest yesterday that drew about 30 students.
Parents and other community members have flooded the high school principal's office with about 40 e-mails and phone calls criticizing the teachers' actions.
"I honestly feel (the protest) was misplaced," said D-Y parent Joanne Schuman of Yarmouth. "I think they should have been removed from that event."
...
The protest unfolded during the senior last assembly, when the high school gathers to recognize graduates for a variety of achievements. For the last five years the recognition ceremony has included the awarding of plaques to students entering military service, said Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School principal Kenneth Jenks.
"Most schools don't recognize students who go into the military," he said.
When D-Y resource Officer Nicholas R. Pasquarosa Jr. addressed the crowd, comparing the volunteer enlistees to a sheepdog standing between the flock and a wolf, Verani and Koscher stood on the bleachers and held an "end war" sign while everyone else sat.
What to many was a sign of respect for the students was to the protesting teachers a recruiting moment, said Verani, who noted that assistant principal George Morrison, a National Guardsman, attended in military fatigues.
"This was a captive audience," she said, adding that the plaques should have been given out at an after-school awards ceremony that was not compulsory attendance for all students.
Verani and Koscher tucked their sign away and sat while the names of the six students entering the U.S. Marine Corps, Army and National Guard were announced.
They remained seated while the rest of those at the assembly gave the students a standing ovation.

Houston radio host sets off CAIR with mosque comments
This is a few weeks old but worth reading nontheless.
Article
Micheal Berry's comments...
To Mr. Berry: Thank you for saying what everyone else in America is thinking. Thank you for having a backbone and not taking any ridiculous crap from those who would place a mosque on such hallowed ground. Thank you for telling political correctness to take a hike. I support you 100%.
To CAIR: I'd like to take Mr. Berry's comments one step further and say if I had my way, I would not only wish for this proposed "house of worship" to be blown up but rather slowly set on fire, using the flames to cook pork chops which will be sold to passersby for $2.50 with a little Stuck Mojo blaring on some loudspeakers in the background. People of all races and religions are welcome.
Religious intolerance? When it desecrates the lost lives and sacred ground at Ground Zero, ABSOLUTELY!
Article
CAIR National Exec. Director Nihad Awad said, "Calls for acts of violence against houses of worship must never be tolerated or excused. We ask the FCC to demonstrate that incitement to violence is never acceptable on our nation's airwaves."
Berry said, "I did not advocate bombing any mosque. First, the supposed mosque does not exist. It is just a proposal, and I oppose where they intend to put it. It is spitting in the face of those who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks to put it there." He also said the caller was "belligerent, and pushed too far, suggesting that any family member of a victim who is offended [by the prospect of a mosque] is somehow a racist."

The Birther claim continues.
And I haven't counted out it's validity just yet. In fact, the recent claim by a former Hawaii election official who had access to all kinds of identification databases that Obama was not born in Hawaii makes me wonder.
As this claim surfaces, World Net Daily seems to be the only media outlet reporting the story. This seems to have flown right over the head of all the major networks. How surprising. Just think how they would have run this story into the ground if it were George W. Bush in office.
"There is no birth certificate," he said. "It's like an open secret. There isn't one. Everyone in the government there knows this."I believe the man is telling the truth. Now it's only a matter of time before the left brands him a skinhead. Oh wait, that's already happened...
"I had direct access to the Social Security database, the national crime computer, state driver's license information, international passport information, basically just about anything you can imagine to get someone's identity," Adams explained. "I could look up what bank your home mortgage was in. I was informed by my boss that we did not have a birth record [for Obama]."
At the time, there were conflicting reports that Obama had been born at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, as well as the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children across town. So Adams says his office checked with both facilities.
"They told us, 'We don't have a birth certificate for him,'" he said. "They told my supervisor, either by phone or by e-mail, neither one has a document that a doctor signed off on saying they were present at this man's birth."
To date, no Hawaiian hospital has provided documented confirmation Obama was born at its facility.
Adams, 45, stressed, "In my professional opinion, he definitely was not born in Hawaii. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that he was not born in Hawaii because there is no legal record of him being born there. If someone called and asked about it, I could not tell them that person was born in the state."
