THUD: Obama speech falls flat.

Obama needed a memorable moment to break the race open and he didn't do it. I thought he would, and I am a little surprised he didn't deliver the speech of his life.

What others are saying...

Tomasky:  "Dull and pedestrian speech..."
Krauthammer:  "One of the emptiest speeches I have ever heard."
Kurtz"Whatever afterglow it created may soon fade as voters again confront the realities of the shaky economy, and the fresh unemployment figures due out Friday morning."
Rubin:  "It would have been better if he had not spoken."
WaPo Editorial Board:  "If Mr. Obama has a plan, Americans who listened Thursday don’t know how he would achieve it."
Noonan:  "It was stale and empty. He is out of juice."
Brooks: "The speech was dominated by unexplained goals that were often worthy, but also familiar, modest and incommensurate with the problems at hand."
Carville: "Not the best speech of the convention."
The Atlantic: "A perplexingly lifeless convention address..."
Fournier: "Why Obama's great speech fell short."

Romney Ryan can breathe a sigh of relief. This race stays close. And now we're in the home stretch.

The Romney campaign has announced a massive "carpetbombing" swing state ad campaign starting tomorrow. Now the fun really starts.

I like your jobs update,

Here's a FACT that you will find hard to believe but you will have to swallow it ... because it's good for you.

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton highlighted a stunning fact during his speech at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday:

Democratic presidents have overseen the creation of nearly twice as many jobs as Republican presidents since 1961.

"What's the job score? Republicans, 24 million; Democrats, 42 [million]," Clinton said to cheers and applause.

Bloomberg Government first reported these figures in May, after analyzing growth in private-sector jobs since 1961.

Fact Big Boy ... Now That 2 Really Huge Economic Facts that I have shared with you. The 1st was that the Stock Markets Perform Better when Democrats are in Office as well.

Repukes are exactly that, something the body of the USA wants to puke out because it makes us and the US' economy all sick as hell.

Republicans is BAD medicine.
Dempocrats is GOOD Medicine.

What have you done since 1961?
1/2 what we have done and you want another shot to fail us again?

That's why we call you Republican'ts!!!

BTW Obama - His speech rocked!

White Guy in Alaska.

Yes that fact is true. Here's another one:

Why do you progressives always look to the past? I don't blame you with Obama's record.
