Clint Eastwood's folly.

Clint Eastwood's Republican Convention speech was trashed by the mainstream media and the left. They labeled it "bizarre", a "head scratcher", "disaster", "bomb", "folly", and mocked Eastwood's intelligence in any number of ways, saying the guy had gone senile because he was talking to "an imaginary friend in a chair."

What the liberals and morons in the media don't understand is that the more their knee jerk impulses make them talk about it, the more people are aware of his speech. The result? His speech went viral, causing a new trend in popular culture that has transcended mere politics, called "Eastwooding". And his speech already has over 2 million views on Youtube.

I don't really blame the left for huffing and puffing about old Clint Eastwood's convention speech. His impromptu performance demanded attention and got it. Now, everyone in America left, right and center knows about Clint Eastwood and Obama the empty chair.

Liberals can criticize Clint Eastwood until they are blue in the face. They can call him old and senile. They can say his speech was idiotic. They can say he's just another old, white man harping the racist diatribes of the outdated Republican party. But remember this. Clint Eastwood is an American icon in the same category as Neal Armstrong, Jackie Robinson, Micheal Jordan, and Steve Jobs. The famous celebrity champions of the left like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Scarlett Johansson are the dirt on the bottom Eastwood's shoe. Clint Eastwood, whether you agree with his politics or not, is a damned legend and always will be. And rabidly attacking an American legend doesn't exactly make you look good.
