Ron Paul's best friend Iran threatens to attack US Navy in Persian Gulf

Pentagon pushes back on Iranian warnings to U.S. aircraft carrier

"Iran will not repeat its warning ... the enemy's carrier has been moved to the Sea of Oman because of our drill," Iran Army chief Ataollah Salehi said Tuesday, Reuters reported. "I advise, recommend and warn them over the return of this carrier to the Persian Gulf because we are not in the habit of warning more than once."

Probably just big talk but a direct threat nonetheless. Please bear in mind a few things.
1) Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons.
2) They have openly vowed to attack and destroy our ally, Israel.
3) They have openly threatened the United States and covertly supported terrorism in Iraq that has killed hundreds of American troops.

And most importantly...

4) They have the complete support and sympathy from US Presidential hopeful Ron Paul.

When the question of Iran comes up, EVERY SINGLE TIME, Ron Paul defends them, defends their actions, and tries to explain away and justify why they are so hostile. And why are they so hostile? Because of America, of course.

At least Obama pretends to support and defend this country!

UPDATE:

I do not support, advocate, or desire the idea of going to war with Iran! And neither do other pro-defense conservatives.

This post is deliberately misleading. Ron Paul only restates what our CIA, Army Intelligence, and the Mossad have said regarding Iran.

As they teach The Art of War at West Point, you first have to understand the enemy in hopes of defeating them. Not understanding the background is incredibly naive and stupid.

Once again reality is here:
1. China has said it will react aggressively if Iran is provoked. They're the nice people that own a lot of our debt, by the way.
2.The recently hired head of Mossad has said that Iran is not an existential threat to Israel and the recently retired head of Mossad called attacking Iran "the stupidest thing he had ever heard of".
3. After sustaining heavy losses in the Iran-Iraq war, it only makes sense that they would be moving in on that power vacuum.

Ron Paul has more support from active duty troops than any other candidate. They are the only foreign policy experts I really trust.

Yeah, Ron Paul has issues with anyone outside of our border when it comes to dealing with hostility.

He is of the mindset that we only respond to attacks, and has problems with the Bush Doctrine.

Republican Mother: I just arrived home from a year long deployment in Iraq. There were insurgent attacks on our base that killed US troops, attacks that were proven to have originated in Iran. Thank you for trusting me as a foreign policy expert.

That we should offer them "friendship"? Are you high, or are you just a liar?
