575 American soldiers killed in Afghanistan, almost doubling from the year before, and nearly quadrupling the total from 2008.

927 Taliban fighters killed, including 12 senior leaders, in 118 US drone attacks, and 3,200 Taliban were killed by British and American special forces during a 3 month stretch of 2010.

63 seats gained by Republicans, the highest margin of victory for a political party in America's congressional elections since 1938.

205.8 million gallons of oil leaked into the Gulf of Mexico.

2 million people packed into downtown Chicago following the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup win.

8 million Kindles sold in the United States and Britain this year, making it Amazon's best selling product of 2010.

Those are some numbers to ponder...

Six vacations? I have the feeling that even when he's in DC he's on vacation. Even scarier, when he's gone, Biden's in charge!
