Sunday: Judgement Day?
Things are really heating up. Obama has canceled his trip to his home nation of Indonesia indefinitely, Dem Bart Stupak has revealed just how nice and tolerant Democrats are, the states are planning to rebel if the bill passes, and Obama has revealed some of his true colors in a feisty interview with Bret Baier yesterday, saying he doesn't care about the legislative process as long as it gets done. Yeah, screw that old, dusty, flawed document right Barack?
As of now the current vote tally is 212 Yes's and 219 No's. The target day for the "vote" on the single largest increase in government, and tyranny in American history is Sunday.
Backroom deals. Buying off votes. Setting up political props like Kucinich and Natoma Canfield. Lying about costs. Voting without even reading. Now they want to pass the monstrosity without even voting on it at all! And all the while they are throwing around senseless numbers of monumental increases in taxes and debt. I say senseless because we are so far in debt ladies and gentleman, that it really doesn't matter anymore how much Obama spends. We are past the point of no return.
I would just like to say, every Democrat is Congress voting on this bill, in blatant and direct opposition to the will of the American people, as well as President Barack Hussein Obama, is a domestic enemy of the United States of America as stated by the United States Constitution and everything the Founding Fathers said. They should be kicked out of office, tried, convicted of treason, and deported. And I sincerely mean that.
This bill will nationalize one sixth more of the entire US economy, bringing the total percentage of private enterprise controlled by Uncle Sam up to a staggering 48%. In essence, we will be standing rank and file among the rest of the socialist nations in Europe. I'd like to say thank you, to ALL who voted for this beast. You were warned.
You stood there in awe, salivating over this well groomed, smooth talking black man thinking he was going to take care of your every little need. Now look where we are.
Thomas Jefferson once said...
"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."
I think that applies more today than any other moment in American history since the Revolution. Get ready folks. This is a monumental period in American history. Fight to your last breath. You should be proud to be able to live in such times, to be the flag bearer of liberty and freedom against the Redcoats of the 21st century!

What's so tyrannical about wanting to insure 31 million people that aren't insured Hack? Why does it anger you so much that the all American insurance industry will have 31 million more customers? Man dude. I thought you were a capitalist like me.
I do admit the Obama/Pelosi pic was pretty good.
It's time for a good old fashioned rebellion, and this may just be the match that lights the fuse.
Fortunately, we still have the vote. It will be ugly for dems this November.
Well said, Hack. Linked at LCR.
Truth101: I hope you're being sarcastic.
Silverfiddle: A rebellion is imminent!
LCR: Thank you!
My god, man, you do craft a convincing bit of prose. This week I was thinking we need another Thomas Paine; perhaps the blogosphere can give us a thousand?
Brother Silverfiddle,
I admire your zeal, but perhaps there's a better way? I hold forth on my blog that it would be better to just frikkin' call it quits. Let the red states and the blue states have an amicable separation -- a constitutional dissolution of the union. Let them rot in their socialism, and let us be free of them. It'd be a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
