Isfahan: Protestant clergyman tortured for “converting Muslims”
A protestant clergyman, Wilson Issavi, has been jailed for “converting Muslims”. He has been tortured and threatened with execution. According to the Farsi Christian Network, Issavi’s wife, Medline Nazanin, recently visited her husband in prison. She said that he was in poor health and that he bore visible signs of torture.
Rev Issavi (pictured), 65, was arrested on 2 February in Isfahan shortly after he finished a house meeting. He heads the Evangelical Church of Kermanshah in Isfahan, a 50-year-old church body affiliated with The Assemblies of God that caters to the local Assyrian population.
Iranian intelligence officials told his wife that he might be executed for his alleged activities.
You know, I think with each passing day I hate the Satanic bloodcult of Islam even more. These people are barbaric, in every imaginable way. They harbor intolerance of the worst kind. They are focused on death more than life.
It is sad because at any given time I can do a Google News search and find at least one story from somewhere around the world within the past 24 hours related to Muslim violence. Let's give it a try right now...

3 Buddhist telephone workers were shot and set on fire by Muslim militants in Thailand.
4 people were gunned down in a drive by in Karachi, Pakistan
That settles it. I've decided to do a special segment each day dedicated to the peaceful religion of Islam. All they need to do is provide me the material. There will be no shortage of that, I can tell you.

It is curious, though, that our Muslim-Americans aren't commiting heinous crimes against non-Muslim Americans. Have you come across any news reports where Muslims are attacking other religions in the US? Setting fires, torturing, etc.?
We have a fairly large Muslim population in this country, but I don't hear reports that Muslims are attacking Christians, Jews, or other religions.
This may have something to do with their access to education and equal opportunity and their wish to live peacefully with other Americans.
But it does indicate that not all Muslims are blood-thirsty murderers, doesn't it? The Muslims I personally know are honest, hard-working people. I've had them in my home, and not once did I fear for my life.
Remember the troubles in Ireland when Christians were slaughtering Christians? And in the 1930s and 1940s when Christians slaughtered 6 million Jews?
Violence and hatred is not

This is reason enough to go to war with all Muslims in my opinion. Are we to sit idle while they slowly chew us to bits? Those who subscribe to this man made religion, need to see, feel and realize the power of the one true God and His armies. What we as Americans need to realize is that terrorist’s ability to do atrocities is only limited by their imagination, and if we are to stop them, we must use absolute resolve to obliterate them and their minions regardless of the collateral damage to those they use as shields. Once they see the determination of unabridged freedom and begin to fight this war like we want to win, they will lose followers, hope, and ultimately, the cause they fight for.
Shaw: Does the name Nidal Malik Hassan ring a bell? How about the Muslim who shot up a Jewish mosque in Washington a few years ago? Or the DC sniper?
Shaw, the moderate American muslims you speak of are made irrelevant by their silence. Did they jump up and go to war to protect America from the Jihadi attack on September 11, 2001? Did the moderate muslims speak out against the attack? Do the moderate muslims overseas put a stop to the heinous crimes committed daily by the islamist terrorists? They do NOT. They sit idly by. To me, that is unconscionable.

Also, I'd like to point out just how idiotic your claim of "Christians slaughtering Jews" in the 1930s and 1940s is. The Nazi party, and Hitler, were not acting on behalf of Christianity. It is absurd to even consider this.
I'm sick and tired of being confronted with the same argument that Christians have killed just as many people as Muslims, with examples of people who were IN NO WAY acting on behalf of Christianity or Jesus.

This is ridiculous. If you really want to make the argument that Christians are just as violent I think the best two examples are the Spanish Inquisiton and the First Crusade but that is the extent of it. Muslims were violent from the beginning, with the violent raids on innocent travelers by Muhammad and his hordes, to the Islamic invasion and conquest of North Africa and Spain, to the Ottoman invasion of Vienna and eastern Europe to the relentless terrorism we see today.
Barbaric is the perfect word to describe these people. The American Left probably would want to lock up People in America for Bible study.

Do you have any proof that they didn't? It is encumbent on an accuser to produce proof that Muslim Americans did not do this. Do you have proof? As to your claim that Muslims did not speak out, that is false and can be refuted by a simple Google search.

At the time of the Nazi takeover of Germany and the Holocaust, Germany was a nation of Christians. And those Christians supported and adored Hitler. Or do you think those millions of Germans were faking their adoration of Der Fuhrer? There is no question about that. Hitler and some of his officers may have left their original Christian faith, but they were definitely raised Christian. Those are facts.

Yeah, I'm familiar with those killers. Are you familiar with the name "Timothy McVeigh?" He was raised a Christian, and killed many more Americans than those guys you name above.

You need to understand something that is fundamental to this topic. Motive for killing is key.
Timothy McVeigh, whom I mentioned earlier before you even cited him, did not bomb the Oklahoma City Federal Building because of his supposed Christianity.
Timothy McVeigh, the man who claimed "science is my religion", the crack smoking adulterer, the man who refused to attend Christian church services while a recruit in the military.

Your accusation that because the deceived people of Germany mistakenly put the bloodthirsty Nazis into power is somehow an act of Christian violence is without a doubt one of the most idiotic statements I have ever heard.
I will reiterate. If you want to give an example of Christian violence BEING COMMITTED IN THE NAME OF CHRISTIANITY then use the Spanish Inquisition or the First Crusade.
Muslims on the other hand, such as Nidal Malik Hasan who shout "Allahu Akbar" while slaughtering innocent people, ARE KILLING IN THE NAME OF ISLAM.
You spend so much time defending Islamic terrorism by counter arguing that Christians are just as violent, while Muslims account for over 90% of terrorist attacks around the world today, that I seriously question your sanity and judgement.
Questioning one's sanity was something the Soviets did to people who were against them.
