You would have called me crazy if...

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said NASA's primary mission is to make the Muslim world feel good about themselves.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the US Government owned 51% of the American economy.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the Presidentially appointed "Safe Schools Czar" was an advocate for teaching pornography to grade school children.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the federal deficit rose by $91,352 every second of the entire month of February 2010.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President of the United States stated being an American is not a matter of "blood or birth".

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President of Mexico was allowed to give a speech on American soil criticizing American immigration policy, and the President of the United States siding with him.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the Justice Department intended to try the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks in civilian court, just blocks from Ground Zero.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the proposed federal spending budget exceed federal income by 1.3 trillion dollars.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said a law nationalizing the US health care system raised taxes on disabled veterans and provided funding for sexual predators' ED meds.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President refused to act for more than 50 straight days, while an underwater oil leak devastated the Gulf of Mexico.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the United States government decided to sue the state of Arizona for enforcing a federal immigration law.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President's first executive order was to seal all Presidential records from the the public.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President lifted a ban on using American taxpayer dollars to fund abortions in foreign countries.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President lifted a ban on allowing people with HIV/AIDS to enter the United States.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President's first speech after inauguration was to an Arabic network apologizing to the Muslim world for America's misdeeds.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said that the White House Christmas (Holiday) tree featured ornaments with the portrait of Mao Zedong on them.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the United States Treasury Secretary was a tax cheat.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said the President was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, just 11 days after taking office and later won that prize while overseeing a war.

5 years ago, you would have called me crazy if I said America was a socialist nation.

Well, call me crazy.

You're right, I might have called you crazy, but then again I would still be pinching myself to see if I had been awaken from the nightmare. :)

I found myself saying this one yesterday- 5 years ago you would have called me crazy if I told you that there would be a mega-mosque going in where a building used to stand that was damaged on 9/11, and that it is scheduled to open on 9/11/11, the 10 year anniversary of that massacre, and that Americans are calling me bigoted for being upset.
