2012 Republican National Convention Finale: Olympians, Eastwood, Rubio, and President Mitt Romney

I didn't expect much more than the usual politician double talk at the final night of the GOP Convention but boy was I wrong. Tonight featured a beefed up lineup of real people with real stories and made an excellent case for Mitt Romney.

The night kicked off with a host of "regular" people, friends and acquaintances of the Romneys. Several close friends, church members, and business partners shared personal stories of the love, dedication, and commitment to serving others that Romney has exhibited through the years. Their personal accounts were compelling. So compelling in fact, that the savage liberal vultures on the PBS panel I was watching, Mark Shields, David Brooks, and Gwen Ifill to name a few, had nothing but words of praise and admiration soon after. I was absolutely shocked.

Not long after, another powerful voice stepped up to bat for Romney. A self admitted "liberal Democrat", Jane Edmonds had served in Romney's cabinet while in Massachusetts. Her speech was direct, emotional, and quite entertaining!

Soon after, as emotion and enthusiasm began to rise in the arena, the crowd was introduced to a large group of past and present American Olympians, including gold medalists Kim Rhode, Derek Parra, and Michael Eruzione. All had the same thing to say...We want Mitt!

Following that was a stirring and well crafted video, which I freely admit...was nothing more than political propaganda...but it was extremely well crafted and produced political propaganda!

And then...my oh my...Clint Eastwood decided to pop in for a little chat and that's exactly what it was. He didn't give a speech. He talked to the audience like one would talk to someone over dinner. "You see, you, me...we own this country!". "We are HIS boss." And just like everyone in the arena and America wanted to hear..."Go ahead...make my day." Enjoy.

Up next, the budding star Marco Rubio gave a stirring speech invoking the true virtues of American exceptionalism. Describing the burdens of expansive government under Obama and the liberals Rubio angrily cried, "Those are the kinds of things immigrants who come here are running away from!"

And finally, the man the whole night revolved around and the speech everyone had waited for. The next president of our country, Mitt Romney gave a great speech to cap off the night. His most effective line of the night? He looked straight into the camera after saying that Obama had promised to "heal the planet" and firmly said, "My promise...is to help you and your family."

It is now official. Romney has fired up the base like he needed to. Mitt Romney had over ten Olympians, personal friends, and Clint Eastwood speak for him tonight. Obama will have Jimmy Carter, Eva Longoria, and Sandra Fluke speaking for him next week. Translation? The election is over.

The Republican National Convention 2012: PURE RACISM and SEXISM

Is that why 19 women and 17 minorities were given prime time speaking slots at the convention? Of course, they aren't REAL women and minorities.... *eye roll*

Just a few of the GOP's stars featured at the RNC 2012...

Mia Love, candidate for Congress from Utah

Bobby Jindal, Governor of Louisiana

Susana Martinez, Governor of New Mexico

Tim Scott, Representative from South Carolina

Luis Fortuño, Governor of Puerto Rico

Artur Davis, former Representative from Alabama

Nikki Haley, Governor of South Carolina

Ted Cruz, candidate for US Senate from Texas

Marco Rubio, Senator from Florida

Quico Canseco, Representative from Texas

Condi Rice, former US Secretary of State

Didn't someone say a long time ago, judge someone not by the color of their skin but by the content of their character? The Democrats do the exact opposite. And MSNBC's decision to shield viewers from every single minority speech at the RNC is exactly what they accuse Republicans of daily...Racism.

In closing I have just one question...why do Democrats hate white people?

Coming soon: Media Bias at the 2012 RNC, a photo collection.

Comedian Dennis Miller calls Sandra Fluke "Moan of Arc".

Thank you Dennis for proving that not everyone in Hollywood is an airheaded idiot mired in wishy washy thinking.

Hurricane Isaac has made leftists believe in God.

Libs from coast to coast have been feeling the Holy Spirit lately.

Hurricane Isaac's bad timing for the GOP Convention has former atheists as giddy as little schoolgirls. It must be the hand of God himself!

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, stated God had decided to "shut the whole thing down."

Dana Milbank of the Washington Post asked if God had forsaken the Republican party.

All of a sudden, God exists! Amen libtards! Amen!

Andrea Mitchell ties 2012 GOP Convention to Bush, Katrina

She tries so hard!

NBC's Andrea Mitchell Ties GOP Convention to Katrina, Bush

Andrea Mitchell is a complete partisan posing as a journalist. She is a disgrace to the profession. Stay tuned here throughout the week. I have been a busy bee as of late collecting countless samples of liberal bias in the media. At the end of the GOP convention this week, I will post everything in a master list. Then I'll collect evidence of media "leg tingling" when the Democrat Convention starts. In 2 weeks, the master list comparison will be published.

The American Ghetto: Proof that big liberal government doesn't work

Long ago, the Apostle Paul made the bold statement, "he who doth not work, neither shall he eat." In America it is, "he who doth not work shall eat, and smoke, and drink, and be able to afford shiny new rims for his low riding Caddy, generously paid for by he that doth work."

America's crime infested inner city ghettos are perfect examples of big, failing government. Since the days of LBJ's Great Society, big government progressives have strived to create a society as close to Marx's version of universal utopia as possible, but they failed miserably and continue to do so today, while pumping in billions of dollars of capital from hard working citizens to these hubs of non productivity.

The American ghetto offers the harsh reality of the real world that liberals understand about as good as they understand the Constitution. They vowed to eliminate poverty and social injustice in the 60s by pouring in hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer money into the inner cities. What do we have today to show for it? Nothing. Crime rates, poverty, and education results have not improved one iota. But the big government liberals continue their failed scheme, investing in these hopeless places, not with their money, but with ours.

If you truly want to view your hard earned tax dollars at work, take a drive through an urban ghetto at night, if you dare. You will see levels of human non productivity on a mass scale you never thought possible. You will see that the people deserving of your tax dollars standing on the street corner doing nothing can afford two hundred dollar basketball shoes, shiny new jewelry, a bottle of Hennessy,  ninety dollar basketball jerseys, cigarettes, crack cocaine, and any other frivolous non necessity they can get their hands on. The taxpayer subsidized section 8 housing, which is nicer than most apartment complexes (when new) is an even bigger testament to this failed policy. These nice housing units swiftly deteriorate into drug havens in mere months, and look like ancient ruins overtaken by weeds and vines shortly after.

While the middle class struggles, the enlightened liberals in a far off land pretend like they know what's best. The progressive kings on a throne in a far away castle you cannot even see, continue to force the hardworking middle class peasant to pay higher tribute so they can turn around and give it to the drunkard sleeping in his own vomit well into the afternoon.

Suburban white California and east coast liberals are completely illiterate when it comes to issues like these. They don't have a freaking clue.

Investing in education? Failure.

Eliminating poverty? Failure.

Reducing crime? Failure.

Obama continues to beg for money. Ups minimum donation from $3 to $5.

Feeling the heat Mr. President?

Here's the latest email I found in my inbox from the Obama campaign:

--------------------------------------------------------------------

When I'm out there talking to voters, we talk about what we've done, what we plan to do over the next four years, and why the other guys have dangerous plans to go back to the policies that failed America for almost a decade.

But there is another question that keeps coming up, and you need to know about it: "Why do I see so many more ads for the other guys?"

You don't need me to tell you that the Romney campaign is outraising us -- that billionaire ideologues and corporate interests are piling on tens of millions more in negative ads trashing us, and that all of it means that undecided voters in battleground states like Iowa could be seeing false, misleading, negative attacks at a rate almost twice as often as they hear from us.

Last week, when I was in Iowa, voters told me they were feeling it. The numbers back it up: Our side is getting outspent 2-to-1 on the air there.

But the folks asking me about this don't want an explanation -- they want to know what I'm going to do about it.

And the fact is that solving this problem is up to you.

Close the gap on the air by making a donation of $5 or more now.

You're getting this email because you know what the stakes are in this election. You know the facts about what we've done to prevent a deeper crisis and to start building an economy that works for the middle class.

But for someone who's not as engaged, these ads may be an important and possibly even primary source of information about the choice in this election.

So it's a bad situation if 90 percent of them are false, negative attacks on us.
We're losing this air war right now.

I don't have as much time to campaign this time as I did in 2008, so this whole thing is riding on you making it happen.

Donate now to close the gap on the air:

Thank you,

Outrageous: What a liberal wrote in to my local newspaper.

An enlightened liberal in my neck of the woods decided to let his voice be heard in my local newspaper today...

"I wonder why any of you Romney-Ryan Republicans would want anything to do with me. Without a pension and receiving only minimum Social Security, I'm $1,800 below poverty level, so I haven't had to pay income taxes for years. Mr. Wiegand of Eureka (Aug. 12 Forum) believes I shouldn't even be allowed to vote.
HUD pays most of my rent. In addition to Medicare, I depend on Medicaid. I receive and depend on food stamps. LIHEAP pays my Ameren electric bill. Another program pays all but $1.10 of my prescriptions. Another program pays part of my phone bill. I don't have long distance service. These are just the basics.
So why would Romney-Ryan Republicans want anything to do with me? I guess I should just crawl into a corner and die, along with all the other sponges and deadbeats."

My family and I debated for some time over whether this write in was a joke or legitimate. We concluded, because it was a response to an earlier write in, it is probably, sadly, legitimate.  I am glad our newspaper published this leech's filthy diatribe for all to see. You're welcome for funding your life with my tax dollars.

Barack Obama's Biggest Supporters!

Pure entertainment!

Hamas (2008)
"Actually, we like Mr. Obama, and we hope he will win the election."

North Korea (2008)
"We will see a better relationship between the U.S. and the Korean Peninsula with Obama, who sternly criticizes Bush and who would meet the leader of Chosun without pre-conditions, than with the “Bush clone” and scarecrow of the neocons McCain."

Fidel Castro (2008)
"He is the most advanced candidate in the race. I feel no resentment towards him, for he is not responsible for the crimes perpetrated against Cuba and humanity. Were I to defend him, I would do his adversaries an enormous favor."

Al Qaeda (2008)
“O Allah, humiliate Bush and his party, O Lord of the Worlds, degrade and defy him!”

CPUSA (2008 and 2012)
“Re-electing Obama is not sufficient to bring economic recovery or even relief to our people. Only a different class configuration in political power can do necessary minimum reforms to give us a chance. But re-electing Obama is absolutely essential. Now is not the time for hand washing the complexities and tactics away—or failing to triage the most critical questions from those that are less critical. We cannot win everything at once!”

FARC (2008)
"The gringos will ask for an appointment with the minister to solicit him to communicate to us his interest in discussing these topics. They say that the new president of their country will be Obama and that they are interested in your compatriots. Obama will not support “Plan Colombia” nor will he sign the TLC (Colombian Free Trade agreement). Here we responded that we are interested in relations with all governments in equality of conditions and that in the case of the US it is required a public pronouncement expressing their interest in talking with the FARC given their eternal war against us."

Hugo Chavez (2008 and 2012)
“I believe the person to best explain the loser’s agenda isn’t Barack Obama but rather Romney, because it’s the extreme right-wing agenda that borders on the fascism of the United States.”
