Barack Obama's support for partial birth abortion.

This is yet another issue, and by far the most important in my opinion, that separates Barack Obama from the rest, Republicans AND Democrats.

Whenever I find myself in a debate with a liberal or a moderate trying to explain away their support for Obama I bring up this topic. Why? Because we are all human, with a conscience. Most of us anyway. And the issue of partial birth abortion goes straight to the heart, despite your race, religion, or gender.

Michael Gerson of the Washington Post said it perfectly back in 2008:

But Obama's record on abortion is extreme. He opposed the ban on partial-birth abortion -- a practice a fellow Democrat, the late Daniel Patrick Moynihan, once called "too close to infanticide." Obama strongly criticized the Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth ban. In the Illinois state Senate, he opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion. And now Obama has oddly claimed that he would not want his daughters to be "punished with a baby" because of a crisis pregnancy -- hardly a welcoming attitude toward new life.
Indeed, this issue should be central in anyone's mind. How anyone could support such a barbaric practice is beyond me. Even most Democrats have the heart to reject partial birth abortion. But not Obama.

From OnTheIssues.com...

In 1997, Obama voted in the Illinois Senate against SB 230, a bill designed to prevent partial-birth abortions. In the US Senate, Obama has consistently voted to expand embryonic stem cell research. He has voted against requiring minors who get out-of-state abortions to notify their parents. The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) gives Obama a 100% score on his pro-choice voting record in the Senate for 2005, 2006, and 2007. Obama has consistently refused to support legislation that would define an infant who survives a late-term induced-labor abortion as a human being with the right to live. He insists that no restriction must ever be placed on the right of a mother to decide to abort her child.
On March 30, 2001, Obama was the only Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survived late term labor-induced abortion. Obama rose to object that if the bill passed, and a nine-month-old fetus survived a late-term labor-induced abortion was deemed to be a person who had a right to live, then the law would "forbid abortions to take place." Obama further explained the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment does not allow somebody to kill a child, so if the law deemed a child who survived a late-term labor-induced abortion had a right to live, "then this would be an anti-abortion statute."

This isn't a political issue. It is a human issue.

Partial birth abortion is nothing less than murder, as abortionists themselves will tell you.

Baby's leg pulled out of birth canal

Body of baby delivered, except for head

Scissors jammed into back of skull and opened to create a hole

Suction catheter inserted into hole and brains sucked out

And this is the result:

Take a good hard look liberals. This is what Republicans and the vast majority of Democrats oppose, as any human being should. Barack Hussein Obama doesn't. This isn't politics. It is murder of innocent human life at it's most precious and delicate stages. I can't comprehend how someone can condone such a practice.

I love to hear liberals stutter and stammer trying to explain away and justify this. You can't. This is yet another reason why Barack Obama is no ordinary Democrat and a person I loathe, both as a leader and as a man. And for those of you on the right, another reason that separates him from Mitt Romney.

How anyone could approve of this, I will never understand. I'll add this to the "Vette Obama" page and link to it on TCL FBs. You are doing a great job.

Read My Lips. Obama must GO, to save America!
And I also believe that as each day goes by, more and more Americans are seeing the real Obama. He has zero credibility.

And he must take his ILLEGAL Aunt Zeituni Onyango who is hiding in some hole in Boston with him!

This practice is not acceptable in any society, let alone ours... Thanks for stopping by T.N.B.C., I've got you on my blog roll...

No coward Obama, he didn't merely crouch down and vote against saving babies who survived this murderous practice, like his fellow life-hating liberals. He actually proudly stood up to argue against it. A horrible, despicable man.

First off, I have to wonder why a woman could carry that long then decide against. Hormone's going wild and other factors that we could consider temporary as far as state of mind.
I wonder if any of these women turned on themselves and hated the doctor for doing it/allowing it to happen.
Too Close to infanticide? It certainly is as far as I'm concerned. I support the heartbeat bills.

Outside of the total moron losers, I see the people voting for this guy as the union members of all variety, who after their hero -bubba clinton- opened the floodgates and sent all of Americas jobs to China, are now like the welfare people - totally dependent on government and can't afford to care what kind of vermin they serve.
(now there's a sentence:)

I believe obama to be a muslim activist, a racist, anti-American, grossly undereducated incompetent arrogant imbecile.
The most dangerous kind of dictator.

he is going unopposed. There is no on in government doing anything for America. The repubs are useless and the Tea Party too few.

All the while I see "conservatives" on blogs not wanting to vote for romney because he isn't their candidate. Some are fake cons, some are not thinking clearly.

This is a very dangerous situation.

Right now there are Christians protesting against an abortion clinic in Jackson, Wyoming. I have some friends there that are involved in this protest.

How is this any different than what used to be purported as the Chinese practice of infanticide where an unwanted infant was simply thrown of a cliff of the same practice by the ancient Spartans used to eliminate infants born with disabilities. Anyone who supports this barbaric practice has not business holding any office in this country.

Hello. I wrote a poem about partial birth abortion. It was inspired by a video of an alleged BO supporter who decided to shift her allegiances. One of the reasons she cited is BO's support of partial birth abortion. May I use an image from your site to go with the poem? I will cite your blog as my source for the picture.
You can see it here http://mywordwall.wordpress.com/2012/10/26/the-longest-cry/
