President Barack Obama disgraces fatherhood

http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/presidential-proclamation-fathers-day

From the first moments of life, the bond forged between a father and a child is sacred. Whether patching scraped knees or helping with homework, dads bring joy, instill values, and introduce wonders into the lives of their children. Father's Day is a special time to honor the men who raised us, and to thank them for their selfless dedication and love.

Fathers are our first teachers and coaches, mentors and role models. They push us to succeed, encourage us when we are struggling, and offer unconditional care and support. Children and adults alike look up to them and learn from their example and perspective. The journey of fatherhood is both exhilarating and humbling it is an opportunity to model who we want our sons and daughters to become, and to build the foundation upon which they can achieve their dreams.

Fatherhood also carries enormous responsibilities. An active, committed father makes a lasting difference in the life of a child. When fathers are not present, their children and families cope with an absence government cannot fill. Across America, foster and adoptive fathers respond to this need, providing safe and loving homes for children facing hardships. Men are also making compassionate commitments outside the home by serving as mentors, tutors, or big brothers to young people in their community. Together, we can support the guiding presence of male role models in the lives of countless young people who stand to gain from it.

Nurturing families come in many forms, and children may be raised by a father and mother, a single father, two fathers, a step father, a grandfather, or caring guardian. We owe a special debt of gratitude for those parents serving in the United States Armed Forces and their families, whose sacrifices protect the lives and liberties of all American children. For the character they build, the doors they open, and the love they provide over our lifetimes, all our fathers deserve our unending appreciation and admiration.

The first sentence in bold gives you a good idea of where Barack Obama's stance on the government's role is. Of course, we all know he views government as the solution to everything. We know he is a statist/socialist. We know his views on government intrusion into individual lives would cause the Founding Fathers to rebel right here and now if they were alive today. But read the statement and you can see the context with which he uses the word government. To even somehow insinuate that the role of government is even close to the role of a father in a child's life, even the tiniest fraction of similarity, is an abomination and a disgrace to fatherhood and the celebration of Fathers Day. I swear, this guy ticks me off more each day. How dare he even put the two in the same sentence, as if their responsibilities are somehow on the same level? They aren't even close, but what else would you expect from a tyrant?

Now look at the second sentence I put in bold, which degrades fatherhood even more. This is what I hate about leftists. They speak in terms of relativity when it comes to everything. In this case, the traditional role of the father is under attack. With this sentence riddled with relativist bullsh-t, the boy king has degraded the role of the father even more. To put the father married to the mother in the same EXACT category as 2 gay men is not just appalling, it is downright evil. I am not here to bash gays, but I will say this: Two gays/lesbians raising a child is child abuse. It is a grave sin. To even suggest that the mother/father relationship to a young child is the same as the father/father relationship to a young child is just inconceivable, disgusting, and revolting. Left wing relativism at its very, very finest. Obama has become a master of it. It's how he got into the White House.

Barack Obama is, and always will be, a disgrace to this country. Tell me, where was your father Barack?

:( heh im sure the libs will say this is great but you know what..
let me do a little editing to say how this COULD have been perfect and thoughtful instead of coming sadly short.

subtract this..

",their children and families cope with an absence government cannot fill. Across America,"

add after
"male role models in the lives of countless young people who stand to gain from it." this

add this
"it is a shame that more men do not stand as examples to their own children and do not stay with their families to claim both their responsibilities and the vast rewards of father hood. This day is to honor and cherish those men who do."

and maybe just maybe this speech would pass muster.

BTW hack..you offend me, you disrespect my grama by saying single gender families can't raise children or suggesting by some stretch that it is abusive. my father was never present because he was a little man child who didn't care about his daughter enough to ever see her. my mother was too drug addled to give a crap either. they were both products of the 60's. my aunt and my grandmother raised me and gave me a stable home. it is not abusive and I will not ever accept the view it that it is abusive for two people of the same gender to raise a child. they were not gay no but there were no men present to ever act as my father or pretend to be. I will never accept the assertion i was somehow abused because of that narrow minded view.

Kraken: You know my point was that it is wrong to have a gay or lesbian couple raise a child, I hope. It in now way was a criticism of same gender guardians, such as an aunt and grandmother in your case. I hope that clarifies.

Same sex parents are indeed a danger to the stability of nations. We have allowed the Homosexual community into accepting perversions we know are wrong.
