Forward! The Communist slogan now adopted by Obama. (PHOTOS)

Barack Obama's 2012 reelection campaign just released its official slogan for the year. The one iconic leftist propaganda phrase, "Forward".

I suspect this is, and always has been, Barack Obama's personal wet dream, cultivated from a very young age by his radical Marxist mother, self admitted Communist grandfather, and personal childhood mentor, Communist, America hater, and pedophile Frank Marshall Davis.

The "Forward" slogan isn't anything new to politics. Wikipedia's article on the leftist term Forward states:
The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other leftwing newspapers and publications. For example, Vpered (Russian language for 'Forward') was the name of the publication that Lenin started after having resigned from the Iskra editorial board in 1905 after a clash with Georgi Plekhanov and the Mensheviks.
Just a few examples of the term Forward in Communist/Socialist/Marxist propaganda...

Forward for the Motherland, for our victory!
Under the leadership of the great Stalin - forward to Communism!

Young builders of communism! Forward, to the new successes in work and study!
Under the banner of Lenin and Stalin, forward to victory of communism!

Go all out and aim high. The east leaps forward, the West is worried
Strike the battle drum of the Great Leap Forward ever louder

Ride the wind and cleave the waves to realise a Leap Forward in all fields

Let's march forward under the banner of Mao Zedong!

Sing revolutionary war songs with fervor, and move forward in victory.
Move fast forward! Construct and protect the Motherland.

The motherland doing a leap forward.

Forward! is also a common phrase within Communist propaganda music. Avante "Forward", Communists, stand up, forward!, Forward to meet the sunrise!, Forward against the Enemy, Forward friends, Forward Red Fleet Czech, Forward Red Marines, Glory to the looking forward, Go Forward Don't Fall, Time Forward...are just a few, as this Communist website will attest.

All of this should come as no surprise to anyone who actively takes a look at who Barack Obama really is. As I pointed out in an earlier post on Obama's childhood influences, he was born to a radical Communist mother who hated religion, capitalism, and America. It just so happens that her father was also a Communist and also was Obama's legal guardian during his childhood in Hawaii. Also during young Barack Obama's time in Hawaii, said commie Grandpa introduced Obama to one Communist poet, America hater, Christian hater, and blatant pedophile, Frank Marshall Davis, who Obama describes as his "childhood mentor" in his best selling book, Dreams from My Father.

Is it any wonder why Barack Obama has surrounded himself with like minded people who share the same radical leftist ideology? And is it any wonder why some Obama administration officials have been caught and forced to resign for openly Communist views? Anita Dunn and Van Jones come to mind. I only wonder how many more there are. Is it any wonder why an ornament on the Obama Christmas tree at the White House showed the figure of Mao Zedong? Is it any wonder why fellow Marxists who were with Obama during his college years describe him as a "pure Marxist Socialist"? And is it any wonder now why he chooses FORWARD as his slogan? No one should be surprised.

Barack Obama: A History of Communism

Barack Hussein Obama was born in 1961, to a Communist mother. Ann Dunham was known as a radical leftist from childhood who hated Christianity, questioned the merits of capitalism, and asked, "What's so bad about Communism?"

Ann Dunham's father, Stanley Dunham, was also a Communist who enrolled Ann in a Communist sympathizing middle school and took the family to a Communist sympathizing church in the 1950s. The FBI had compiled a file on Grandpa Dunham because of his red activities.

While young Barack Obama was being raised by his grandparents in Hawaii during his teen years, Grandpa Dunham introduced Barack to staunch Communist Frank Marshall Davis. Davis is described by Obama in his book "Dreams from My Father" as a mentor he could always look to for answers. Davis was was a member of the Communist Party, a poet who routinely praised the Soviets in his writings, a pedophile, and a hater of Christianity and America. Communist Grandpa was good friends with Davis.

In college, Obama writes in his own words in "Dreams from My Father" that he sought out Marxist professors.

Dr. John Drew, who said he knew Obama while at Occidental College, stated that Obama was a staunch Marxist-Leninist while in college. Drew, a self admitted Marxist himself, called Obama "a Marxist revolutionary", recalling that Obama routinely stated "there's going to be a revolution."

While at Colombia University in New York, Obama dated a girl named Genevieve Cook, who worked as a teacher at the Communist run 'Brooklyn Friends School'.

During the 1990s, Obama was said to have attended several events by the Communist "New Party", whose goal was to infiltrate the Democratic Party and move it further left towards Communist goals. Obama received their endorsement in 1996 while running for the Illinois state senate.

In 1998, Barack Obama sat on a panel for a Chicago play praising Communist Saul Alinsky.

Obama worked with and became close friends with self admitted Marxist revolutionary and terrorist Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn while in Chicago. The political career of Barack Obama was started with a kick off party in Ayers's Chicago home.

At the Ayers home party, Obama was praised by predecessor Alice Palmer. Years before, Palmer had chosen young Obama to be her successor. Alice Palmer was an avid Communist who had previously attended Communist events in the Soviet Union, as well as writing for the CPUSA publication 'People's Weekly World.' She was also a member of a Communist front group called "US Peace Council".

Also attending at the Ayers home was Dr. Quentin Young, a long time friend of Obama. Young was a member of the Young Communist League in Chicago in the 1930s, and involved in various Communist groups up until the 1980s.

In 2004, Barack Obama campaigned for and endorsed Congressman Danny Davis, once saying "he shares our values." Coincidentally, Davis was also a member of the Communist 'New Party' and was filmed as recently as 2012 receiving awards from the Communist Party of the USA.

In 2008, The Communist Party of the United States actively campaigned for Barack Obama in the presidential race.

In 2008, following Obama's victory in the Democratic caucus in Iowa, Frank Chapman, also a member of CPUSA's front group "US Peace Council" wrote a glowing praise for Obama in People's Weekly World. In it he described how Obama's victory would "usher in a new era of struggle", much in the way Marx intended.

During the campaign in 2008, self proclaimed Communist Mike Klonsky was given a "social justice" blog on the official Obama campaign website. Klonsky was and is an avid Communist who previously visited Communist China in 1971 and was involved in multiple Communist-Leninist organizations throughout the 1960s and 1970s. Also a close friend of Bill Ayers, Klonsky's groups were funded to a sum of nearly 2 million dollars by Obama and Ayers through the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.

Obama's car and manufacturing czar, John Bloom, stated in 2009 that "we kind of agree with Mao" and that "the free market is nonsense."

Obama's green czar Van Jones resigned in 2009 when he was exposed on the national level for his Marxist views and radical Communist activities. Jones said in 2005, "I was a Communist."

Obama's White House communications director, Anita Dunn, also resigned in 2009 over a controversy surrounding her comments that Mao was her favorite philosopher who "I turn to most". Dunn also quoted Mao during her career ending speech.

In 2009, it was also reported that a seemingly harmless Christmas ornament on the Obama White House Christmas tree featured, of all people, Mao.

In 2009, Obama appointed Carol Browner as his energy czar. Browner was previously a commissioner for the international Communist-lite group Socialist International.

Obama's science czar, John Holdren, worked for The Bulletin of Nuclear Sciences, which also employed several communists. Holdren, among other things, supports the idea of forced abortions and mass sterilization to quell rising populations.

In 2010, Obama appointed Communist Donald Berwick as the head of Medicare and Medicaid.

The 2012 Obama reelection campaign decided to use the traditional Communist term "Forward" as their official slogan. The term "forward" is rooted in Communist propaganda lore in European Communist organizations including Karl Marx's newspaper, as well as Soviet Russia and Communist China throughout the 1900s.

Also in 2012, the Communist Party of the United States (CPUSA) has officially endorsed Obama again.

Not to be outdone, Obama's long time political adviser, David Axelrod, also has ties to Communists, being influenced and funded by Communist Party members during his college years in Chicago.

Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett's father in law, Vernon Jarrett, coincidentally worked with Obama's old childhood Communist mentor Frank Marshall Davis during the 1940s in various Communist organizations.

But wait, this is all coincidence right? You see, many write off accusations of Obama being a Communist as "radical" or extreme. But in reality, calling Barack Obama a Communist really makes a lot of sense if you look at his history, his beliefs, and those he surrounds himself with.

3 words: CONNECT THE DOTS.

Just another Democrat? I think not.

Memorial Day Special II: Honoring Those Who Paid the Ultimate Sacrifice

In the early days of this blog I published 'Memorial Day Special' part one, which quickly became one of the most popular posts here. This is part two.

Revolutionary War

The army was now not only starved but naked; the greatest part were not only shirtless and barefoot, but destitute of all other clothing, especially blankets. I procured a small piece of raw cowhide and  made myself a pair of moccasons, which kept my feet (while they lasted) from the frozen ground, although, as I well remember, the hard edges so galled my ancles, whilee on a march, that it was with much difficulty and pain that I could wear them afterwards; but the only alternative I had was to endure this inconvenience or to go barefoot, as hundreds of my companions had to, till they might be tracked by their blood upon the rough frozen ground. But hunger, nal~edness and sore shins were not the only difficulties we had at that time to encounter; we had hard duty to perform and little or no strength to perform it with. The army continued at and near the Gulf for some days, after which we marched for the Valley Forge in order to take up our winter-quarters. We were now in a truly forlorn condition—no clothing, no provisions and as disheartened as need be. We arrived, however, at our destination a few days before Christmas. Our prospect was indeed dreary. In our miserable condition, to go into the wild woods and build us habitations to stay (not to live) in, in such a weak, starved and naked condition, was appaling in the highest degree, especially to New-Englanders, unaccustomed to such kind of hardships at home....

-Private James Sullivan Martin at Valley Forge

Civil War

Before the sunlight faded, I walked over the narrow field. All around lay the Confederate dead-undersized men mostly, from the coast district of North Carolina, with sallow, hatchet faces, and clad in "butternut"-a color running all the way from a deep, coffee brown up to the whitish brown of ordinary dust. As I looked down on the poor, pinched faces worn with marching and scant fare, all enmity died out. There was no "secession" in those rigid forms, nor in those fixed eyes staring blankly at the sky. Clearly it was not "their war." Some of our men primed their muskets afresh with the finer powder from the cartridge-boxes of the dead. With this exception, each remained untouched as he had fallen. Darkness came on rapidly, and it grew very chilly. As little could be done at that hour in the way of burial, we unrolled the blankets of the dead, spread them over the bodies, and then sat down in line, munching a little on our cooked rations in lieu of supper, and listening to the firing, which was kept up on the right, persistently. By 9 o'clock this ceased entirely. Drawing our blankets over us, we went to sleep, lying upon our arms in line as we had stood, living Yankee and dead Confederate side by side, and indistinguishable.-This was Sunday, the 14th of September.

World War I

Luf fired several short bursts as he dived in to the attack. Then he swerved away and appeared to busy himself with his gun, which evidently had jammed. Another circle over their heads and he had cleared the jam. Again Major Raoul Lufberyhe rushed the enemy from their rear, when suddenly old Luf's machine was seen to burst into flames. He passed the Albatros and proceeded for three or four seconds on a straight course. Then to the horrified watchers below there appeared the figure of their hero in a headlong leap from the cockpit of the burning aircraft! Lufbery had preferred a leap to certain death rather than endure the slow torture of burning to a crisp. His body fell in the garden of a peasant woman's house in a little town just north of Nancy. A small stream ran nearby and it was thought later that poor Lufbery seeing this small chance for life had jumped with the intention of striking this water. He had leaped from a height of two hundred feet and his machine was carrying him at a speed of 120 miles per hour! A hopeless but a heroic attempt to preserve his life for his country!

-Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, describing the death of American ace Raoul Lufbery

World War II

We jumped into the little tractor boat and quickly settled on the deck. 'Oh, God, I'm scared,' said the little Marine, a telephone operator, who sat next to me forward in the boat. I gritted my teeth and tried to force a smile that would not come and tried to stop quivering all over (now I was shaking from fear). I said, in an effort to be reassuring, 'I'm scared, too.' I never made a more truthful statement in all my life. Now I knew, positively, that there were Japs, and evidently plenty of them, on the island. They were not dead. The bursts of shellfire all around us evidenced the fact that there was plenty of life in them!... After the first wave there apparently had not been any organized waves, those organized waves which hit the beach so beautifully in the last rehearsal. There had been only an occasional amphtrack which hit the beach, then turned around (if it wasn't knocked out) and went back for more men. There we were: a single boat, a little wavelet of our own, and we were already getting the hell shot out of us, with a thousand yards to go. I peered over the side of the amphtrack and saw another amphtrack three hundred yards to the left get a direct hit from what looked like a mortar shell. 'It's hell in there,' said the amphtrack boss, who was pretty wild-eyed himself. 'They've already knocked out a lot of amphtracks and there are a lot of wounded men lying on the beach. See that old hulk of a Jap freighter over there? I'll let you out about there, then go back to get some more men. You can wade in from there.' I looked. The rusty old ship was about two hundred yards beyond the pier. That meant some seven hundred yards of wading through the fire of machine guns whose bullets already were whistling over our heads. The fifteen of us - I think it was fifteen - scurried over the side of the amphtrack into the water that was neck-deep. We started wading. Marines hunker down at the seawallNo sooner had we hit the water than the Jap machine guns really opened up on us. There must have been five or six of these machine guns concentrating their fire on us... It was painfully slow, wading in such deep water. And we had seven hundred yards to walk slowly into that machinegun fire, looming into larger targets as we rose onto higher ground. I was scared, as I had never been scared before. But my head was clear. I was extremely alert, as though my brain were dictating that I live these last minutes for all they were worth. I recalled that psychologists say fear in battle is a good thing; it stimulates the adrenalin glands and heavily loads the blood supply with oxygen. I do not know when it was that I realized I wasn't frightened any longer. I suppose it was when I looked around and saw the amphtrack scooting back for more Marines. Perhaps it was when I noticed that bullets were hitting six inches to the left or six inches to the right. I could have sworn that I could have reached out and touched a hundred bullets. I remember chuckling inside and saying aloud, 'You bastards, you certainly are lousy shots.' After wading through several centuries and some two hundred yards of shallowing water and deepening machinegun fire, I looked to the left and saw that we had passed the end of the pier. I didn't know whether any Jap snipers were still under the pier or not, but I knew we couldn't do any worse. I waved to the Marines on my immediate right and shouted, 'Let's head for the pier!' Seven of them came. The other seven Marines were far to the right. They followed a naval ensign straight into the beach - there was no Marine officer in our amphtrack. The ensign said later that he thought three of the seven had been killed in the water."

-Robert Sharrod at the Battle of Tarawa

Korean War

We sent out daily patrols that only got 600 yards before getting hit. On the 25th, I had to send out a platoon toward positions I knew were there. I didn't like it at all because the enemy had been get cagier and cagier and had been holding their fire. But out went Lt. Radcliffe and his 1st Platoon. The Chinese let them get 200 yards from the peak before opening up with cross-firing weapons. Radcliffe was killed instantly. The platoon sergeant, a corporal, didn't hesitate. He ordered marching fire , and the platoon took half the peak so the rest could get out. There were three dead. Sergeant Brown was cut down by a grenade near Radcliffe. He rolled over and took Radcliffe's .45 pistol and the maps and took them all back as he himself was carried out. A machinegunner who could not find a vantage point to set up his machinegun went up with it cradled in his arm with one belt of ammunition. He had to be evacuated for the burns on his arm. Every night, enemy patrols would crawl up and feel us out. They plotted our weapons and counted our men. Every night I would have to get up and calm down a squad that thought the whole Chinese Army was out there. But this had one good effect. The men dug in tight. They kept their weapons spotless. They slept in the daytime and watched at night. The 60mm mortar crew got faster and faster under colored platoon leader Lieutenant Walker. I collected heavy machineguns and on the 28th had five heavies and seven lights across the front. But because of the fire and dwindling number of men, we had been able to put out only a few rolls of concertina wire on the two easy approaches. The engineers all but refused to work laying mines in front of us. The night of the 28th came. The day had been quiet and it seemed as good a time as any for the big show. At 2330 a bombardment came in. It was deadly accurate and concentrated on the positions controlling the two approaches. It continued until 2400 and then, for a few minutes, stepped up to a frenzied firing of all kinds of shells. Then I heard the rip of a burp gun on the left. At the same time, just as I popped out of my bunker, a purple flare went off on both flanks of the peak. I yelled off a series of concentrations to the FO's (forward observers), and the first sergeant roused the 60's on the phone. But before I had even given a command to the 60's, two plop plops came out, and in a second a flare was burning over each flank. They had fired in about 20 seconds from the enemy flares. All hell broke loose. A company hit each flank, and even with the 4.2's dropping right in the draw they came up, they overran the tie-in with Company L and rolled up the flank of the understrength 1st Platoon. On the right they were stopped for a while by the automatic weapons and the 81mm and 60mm mortars, but there again they punched through a squad front and overran that squad turning toward the peak through the 2d Platoon. Not a man bugged out, and all our dead soldiers in the morning were found in their holes.

Vietnam War

Sergeants William Beall and John Duboise had the routine evening patrol. They took the 3rd Cambodian Battalion out to set up the night ambush as part of a combat training exercise. Beall and Duboise, along with their interpreter Puk, found a likely area facing a rice paddy dike, tree lines on both sides, and overlooking a cow path. They set up a typical field of fire for a line ambush – the main body spread along the dike and the rear guard on the opposite side of the rice paddy. There was only one glitch in the routine – the rear guard lost radio contact with the main body not long after they set up the ambush. This being the case, they were forced to walk back and forth across the rice paddy to use the main group’s radio. It was just another ordinary night in the life of training the Cambodians in Vietnam. The continual traffic back and forth across the paddy during the night became routine…so routine that when Sergeant Beall saw a group of soldiers coming up behind him he though it was the usual cast of characters, that is, until he saw Puk’s eyes widen in fear. “Hey, what’s wrong? What’s going on?” he whispered to Puk. Puk replied incoherently and Beall turned to look for himself. In one glance he saw that the “usual cast of characters” was actually a small column of Viet Cong clad in black pyjamas, humping brown knapsacks and carrying AK-47s. He knew immediately that the crap was about to hit the proverbial fan. The VC also realised that they had gotten caught “half stepping”. Thinking they had walked into the kill zone of an ambush, they began to respond. The second line squatted down, forcing Beall to instinctively grab for his weapon. At the same time, Duboise, who had been drinking from his canteen, turned around to see what all the commotion was about. That was when the VC opened fire on full automatic and sprayed lead across Beall, Puk and Duboise. Beall’s body was shaking and jerking from the impact of the rounds hitting him. Duboise was down and critically wounded, while Puk lay dying to one side. The Cambodian soldiers laying in ambush facing the wrong direction were thrown into utter chaos with their leaders down and on one around to tell them what to do. In spite of the seriousness of his wounds, Sergeant Beall struggled to the roadio and made a call for help.

Iraq War

Hospital Corpsman Third Class Jesse P. Hickey, the platoon corpsman, rushed 75 meters through the enemy’s kill zone to reach the casualties. “It was a bad situation,” Hickey said. “A lot of Marines were getting injured. I wasn’t really worried about myself. … I was worried about whether I was going to be able to take care of everybody.” Suddenly, explosions rocked the collection site, felling two more Marines, including Cpl Rogers, who succumbed to his wounds. Insurgents on the roof had lobbed grenades over the top into the mass of wounded men. Hickey “ran into the heart of the fierce melee to provide first aid to a severely wounded Marine who lay immobilized in the kill zone,” his Silver Star citation noted. “Enemy grenade explosions wounded Petty Officer Hickey with shrapnel to his entire body … undeterred by his wounds, he continued treating casualties,” one of whom was Cpl Javier Alvarez, 2d Squad leader. Alvarez had taken three bullets in the legs as he sprinted across the open area. “It felt like something hit me, and I looked down and I saw that I was bleeding,” he said. “I continued to push toward the house, about 20 feet away at that point. I didn’t know if it hit an artery, so I stopped and took cover behind the wall.” When LCpl Lawson L. Salisbury (2d Fire Team leader) rushed over to help with the wounded, he was shot. “I picked up my weapon and started shooting into the windows where the round came from,” Alvarez said. “As I ran out of rounds, I put my weapon down. And as I looked back up, I see Salisbury’s face, you know, with a pretty intense look. I look down to see what he’s looking at … and there was a grenade.” Salisbury shouted, “Grenade, grenade, grenade!” as it rocked back and forth on the ground. “I have two to three seconds to get rid of this,” Alvarez thought. He grabbed the missile and tried to lob it away. “I don’t know if it went off in my hand or within a foot of it … everything was black for a couple of seconds, and when I came to, there was just a ragged bone sticking out, with my sleeves from my uniform black and red from blood.”

Romney also hired a private detective, established a toll free hotline for tips, contacted all of Bain Capital's business partners in the city and coordinated with the NYPD. Not long after, a call came in which police traced to a basement in New Jersey where the 14 year old girl was found shivering and in deteriorating health from a massive drug overdose. Doctors stated she might not have survived another day. Said Robert Gay, "It was the most amazing thing and I'll never forget it till the day I die."

According to Josh Romney, he and his brother Craig were cleaning the beach that night while Mitt was tinkering in the garage when they heard screams coming from the lake. After seeing the bobbing heads of the capsized family, Josh and Craig immediately jumped on their jetski with Mitt following close behind on the other jetski. The three Romneys plucked the struggling family members, 3 men and 3 women, from the water while making trips back and forth to and from the beach. Mitt Romney himself took a tumble into the water when a frantic victim tipped over his jetski while trying to climb aboard. All 6 people and the dog were safely transported back to dry land.

You can question the man's politics. But you can't question his character.

The public lynching of George Zimmerman. Is he even guilty?

I am appalled at the nationwide witch hunt against George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watchman who shot a 17 year old boy in self defense.

Are we guilty until proven innocent in this country? Or innocent until proven guilty?

We have nationwide mob protests in this country calling for this man's head. Has anyone even bothered to look at the evidence yet?

Did you know a witness who saw the whole thing just stepped forward and said Martin was the one on top of Zimmerman, and Zimmerman was the one crying for help? Did you know Zimmerman had grass stains on the BACK of his shirt? Did you know George Zimmerman had a broken nose and bloody head? Did he beat himself up before or after he shot Martin? Or did Martin bust his nose and head after he had already been fatally shot in the chest? I find this an odd scenario. Did you know George Zimmerman couldn't stop crying after the shooting?   Did you know his neighbors describe him more like a gentle giant than anything? Hateful racist?

Of course none of this matters, because George Zimmerman is a filthy racist who enjoys murdering young black kids for fun, who---uh, just happens to be Hispanic, with-uh, black friends who defend him...

Now President race-bait Obama himself has joined the ruckus, saying that if he had a son, "he would look like Trayvon".  Way to exploit a young man's death for politics Mr. President.

I don't recall much of a reaction from you earlier this month when a 13 year old boy in Kansas City was doused in gasoline and set on fire by two black teens saying, "You get what you deserve white boy." Come to think of it, I don't recall much of a reaction from the mainstream media either. Hmm, funny..

(Bear in mind this is the same President who injected himself into another petty race squabble in Massachusetts involving a police officer...)

Whether Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin or not, I don't really care. If he murdered him, I hope he gets the worst possible punishment: the death penalty. Race is irrelevant. I am disgusted by the collective mob in this country, wielding their torches and pitchforks screaming for a law abiding citizen's death. How dare you.

Now, George Zimmerman and his wife are in hiding. The Black Panthers have put a bounty on him. Louis Farrakhan has called for violent retaliation.  Spike Lee has tweeted his home address. People are calling for him to be tortured, raped, and murdered. Black leaders, with the help of the media, are stirring up mass anger in an election year and Barack Obama wants to harness it and convert it into votes. If this isn't insane enough, now, the Obama activists in the mainstream media are blaming the GOP candidates for having some kind of role in the tragedy. They are blaming Jeb Bush. They are blaming the NRA.

And Trayvon Martin? As new details emerge, it appears he may not be the baby faced, halo donning, innocent child that Brian Williams, Andrea Mitchell, Diane Sawyer and the rest of them have led us to believe. Recently we learn that Martin was actually suspended from his school 3 times in Miami. He was found with marijuana, women's jewelry, and a burglary tool in his backpack. He got caught writing graffiti in his school.  He swung on a bus driver.  He was 6"3". Does any of this matter? Maybe. Maybe not. But it is worth considering.

It is appalling and disgusting how the Democrats and the Democrat media are exploiting this awful and regrettable death for political gain. But such is the Democrat way.

Derek Hunter has an excellent article on this madness. The Death of Trayvon Martin: Is There Nothing Progressives Won’t Exploit?

Mark my words. This is going to come back and bite the race baiting liberals who have fanned the flames of this fire. If George Zimmerman is found to be innocent, the fools on the left will be exposed for the mob rulers they are.

My newfound love for NHL hockey

I've been a lover of sports since I can remember. Basketball was always my thing as a youngster. I was addicted to the NBA and the world champion Chicago Bulls dynasty which captivated the hearts and minds of millions of people not only in America but around the globe during the 90's. Back then, professional basketball was a competitive, heart stopping, and classy game graced by the likes of superstars like Micheal Jordan, Karl Malone, Patrick Ewing, and Hakeem Olajuwon. Oh what drastic changes we've seen in the past 10 to 12 years. Times certainly change. And so do people. Today's NBA is much different, full of whiners, thugs, and prissy schoolgirls. I've seen 14 year old kids with more guts than some of these NBA players. You know what really makes me sick? When one of these "men", usually covered from head to toe in tattoos, gets lightly bumped, flails his arms like he's trying to fly while nosediving to the floor, then writhing like a fish out of water on the court like his entrails are hanging out, all the while waiting for someone to come pick him up off the floor. Seriously, grow a pair of nuts. Another aspect of today's game that causes me to cringe every time are the Los Angeles Lakers. What a disgusting sports franchise. Don't get me wrong. The Lakers of old were a great team, and many greats of the game wore a Lakers uniform, whom I have all the respect in the world for: Jerry West, Magic, Kareem. But now we have this turd named Kobe Bryant who thinks he is just the greatest thing since sliced bread. What a disgusting piece of humanity. The guy makes a shot and runs down the court with his mandible jutted out, teeth clenched, forming a "tough guy" scowl that just does not work. It's like the bully on the playground who always tries to act tough, but really isn't. He does everything he can to look like a badass, but it just doesn't work. That's what I think of when I see Kobe Bryant. *sigh* Enough of the National Babies Association. I could write an entire blog on my hatred for the NBA, but alas I must get to the topic of my post.

NHL Hockey. I really didn't pay it much interest in years past. I have always been a Chicago Blackhawks fan. I'm a fan of every Chicago team, except the White Sox. Two things have reignited my love for the sport. One, the legendary USA vs. Canada gold medal game in Vancouver earlier this year. Talk about a thriller. Those guys played their hearts out, and for no money at all. Simply for the love of the game, and love of country. Imagine the Olympic basketball team, complete with thuggery of all shapes and sizes, doing that. I sure can't. And two, the resurgent Blackhawks, who on Sunday cemented their spot in the Stanley Cup finals. I watched game 4 between the Hawks and Sharks and it made me think. I saw guys getting laid out and getting right back up. I saw a player take a puck straight to the mouth. He continued to play, bloody and toothless. I saw vicious competitive fire from both sides. Hockey players love their game, and they play harder and hustle more than pro baseball, basketball, or football players in my opinion. And simply because of that, I love to watch it. The games are intense. The crowds are wild. And who can not like the sound of a deafening train horn after a hard fought and well deserved goal? You know what else I saw? After seeing these guys fight for 60 minutes straight, when all was said and done, they went to center ice and shook hands with each other one by one, sincerity in each man's eyes. When do you see that in any other sport? That, my friends is the definition of class. I guess it all boils down to this. The hockey player represents the every day man. The bearded blue collar worker. The real man.  And that's something you don't see in other sports.

I look forward to seeing a great series between the Hawks and Flyers. Hopefully the Hawks can do what the Cubs cannot! Oh and to the NBA. You won't get a dime of my money, or time.

Update from Iraq

I am 4 months into the deployment here and taking things one day at a time! It's difficult at times being here, but I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends showing their constant support. I tell myself everyday, "it could be worse".

I am currently working as a medic in Baghdad at an unspecified location on Victory Base Complex where I have the privilege and honor of partaking in a very unique mission, one that has given me a lot of knowledge about our enemy, at the same time cementing my firm belief in American exceptionalism.

Everything is different here, from the weather to the terrain to the smell and everything in between. Sometimes it is like being on another planet. Green is a color you do not see very often. Even the smell of trees and the touch of grass is something I miss, and something I look forward to when I come home. I have come into contact with many nationalities- Kuwaitees, Iraqis, Indians, Nepalese, Sri Lankans. The third party nationals who do contracting work here are extremely respectful and kind to American troops. I make sure I show them just as much respect and they show me!

Attacks here have become more frequent unfortunately. You might have already heard, but last month was the deadliest month here since 2008, and July doesn't look too much better. Casualties seem to be a weekly, if not daily, thing here. I have a firm belief Iraq has become the next "forgotten war" but will all soon change towards the end of this year. Al Sadr and other Shite militia groups have vowed unrelenting attacks on US troops here if we do not stick with our December 31st deadline. Now that our government has pledged 8,500 to 10,000 troops to stay past the deadline, I can only see this getting worse.

There are few extracurricular activities here. I am so thankful to have a gym at my disposal for free and that is where I spend most of my free time, as well as a small outdoor basketball court right outside my barracks. There are bootleg DVD shops all over the place here where you can buy horrible quality DVDs for a dollar. There is also a very nice "getaway area" here on VBC where troops can go to relax, which is located inside one of Saddam Hussein's old palaces! Inside there is a movie theater, video game room, and a gym overlooking a lake. Outside is a very nice pool.

Speaking of Saddam Hussein's palaces, I had the opportunity to take a tour of one of them. What an experience that was. It gives you chills some of the things he did. To name a few...he had a special palace built to house all of his concubines, against their will. Almost like a rape prison. Had an in ground pool with no water in it where he kept prisoners to torture them. I could see a spot where a man was chained to the metal ladder on the side of the pool getting his head drilled with an electric drill. His brain matter was still visible, caked on the tiles. He had special brick wall built up to keep construction workers out of his living quarters during construction of one of the palaces. He was always paranoid one of them would assassinate him. After construction they would be ordered to tear it down. I also saw the room where Dan Rather interviewed him, his conference room where he held meetings with his Baathist government, as well as the bombed out Baath party movie theater, which got blown to bits by an American tomahawk missile while 100+ Baathist officials were inside watching Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman'! None survived.

Above all, I am happy to be here! It is a unique time in history, and I am taking part in a very unique mission. I get to see the transfer of authority from us to the soldiers of Iraq first hand. It is still somewhat of an eerie feeling seeing Apache helicopters and uparmored humvees with Iraqi flags on them. But they are our ally now, and many American soldiers died for this. I thank each and every one of you on here for your support and your patriotism! It is refreshing and encouraging.

Back from training.

So I returned home from my month long Uncle Sam funded "excursion" to the barren wasteland we Army folk like to refer to as Fort Polk late last night. I'd love to share with you all of the training and experiences I got there but due to OPSEC (Operational Security) I cannot divulge much. I did receive great training, made some awesome friendships, and ate more MRE's and greasy army eggs and bacon than I can count. Blegh.

I had numerous political talks with all kinds of soldiers, and what I heard from them only reaffirms my opinion that the military is almost entirely anti-Obama. Most people in the Army are conservatives with a little something the hooligans in liberal la la land have obviously never heard of: common sense.

If there's one thing I have learned from the Army it is that the only true cure to racism is to have a sense of humor when it comes to racial slurs, stereotypes, and jokes.

The Army is full of people of all races and backgrounds. I have made friends with blacks, hispanics, asians, arabs, native Americans, and just about every mix in between. When you wake up, eat, train, and sleep together you develop a sense of brotherhood and camaraderie that makes skin color a total non issue. Seeing as most leftists have never served in the military and hate it all together, it is no wonder they cannot understand this.

I met black people that told black jokes that left people rolling on the floor. I met a Puerto Rican that couldn't talk without stereotyping his race in hilarious fashion. I met an Asian that described himself as a twinkie: yellow on the outside, and white on the inside. And it wasn't just them.

How dare they! Someone call the NAACP! Where's Al Sharpton?

All I could think of while conversing with these fellow soldiers is that this is how it should be. People should be comfortable enough to make fun of their own race and have a sense of humor without some uptight liberal wetting their pants. The issue of race is totally erased when you can have a sense of humor about it. It's just sad some of those on the left cannot understand this. They spend most all their energy whining about non existent racism and so called intolerance coming from the conservative right.

It's ironic really. Just days before leaving, I was chastised by some bedwetting liberal on a facebook group for posting the Obama "Swine Flew" joke. For those of you who don't know it, it goes like this:

"I was always told a black man would never become president until pigs could fly. Well Obama became president, and behold 30 days in, Swine Flu."

A few days later down at training I heard this very same joke...told by one of my black friends, which made it all the funnier. Wait, is he racist? No, he just has a sense of humor. Like me. Too bad the liberal who bent over backwards to call me a "KKK Nazi" for telling that joke cannot grasp such a concept as humor. The liberals' brains must be jam packed full of too much BS to accommodate such an inconceivable notion, unless of course it involves Rush Limbaugh or George W. Bush dying.

In summary, it's great to be back and I look forward to blogging again! I won't lie. It was nice being away from the news for a while and not seeing Obama's face or hearing his disgusting voice for 3 weeks straight. But now it's back to the grind! And oh, it looks like there's a lot going on!

Oh yeah. It's also nice to have a flushing toilet again.

Obama leads his futile attempt to recharge the Democratic Party

Yesterday President Obama went a'whoring into the University of Wisconsin Madison campus, met by a throng of Obama youths reminiscent of the 2008 campaign in a hugely futile attempt at reinvigorating and re-inspiring the base for the Democrat Party.

Good luck!

Said President Obama, "I am promising you Wisconsin, change is going to come. You got to stick with me. You can't lose hope."

Geez, how patient are these people supposed to be Mr. President? Change and hope in the same line, but still non existent two years later.

According to UW-Madison Police, more than 26,500 people showed up for the rally, making it Obama's largest since the campaign. Most packed into the mall on what turned into a crisp fall night, standing shoulder-to-shoulder from Memorial Library to Park Street, while others spilled up Bascom Hill.
They held signs that read "Moving America Forward," while every so often someone would yell out, "Obama, we love you."
Emily Lawless, a UW-Madison junior from Lakeville, Minn., waited in line five and a half hours for the chance to see the president live.

It is still evident obvious pockets of scattered Obamabotism exist in America. But what is the one universal thing we know about Obamabots, my friends?

They are stupid.

Obamabots like these college students voted for Obama because they wanted to make history and they hated Bush. Period. They had no idea what he stood for. And if they didn't know what he stood for, they obviously have absolutely no inkling about anything even related to the 2010 Congressional elections. Youth brigade enthusiasm will not translate into votes for Democratic candidates.

To put it into perspective, even I would be excited to go see President Obama if he came to my town or campus. Why? Because I respect the office, as should all Americans.

Needless to say, The Incredible Mr. Obama blathered and babbled for 40 minutes about how everything is going to plan. My absolute favorite line though was this...

"The hole we are climbing out of is a deep one. Now is not the time to give up."

I don't know whether to burst out into uncontrollable laughter or wince and cringe in disgust at the sheer hypocrisy and backwardsness of that entire statement.

Obama is such a sorry, sorry character.

I'm afraid to say it Mr. President, but you could hold a kumbya rally like this one every day in every state from now until election day and it still wouldn't put a dent in the awesome losses your party will endure.

In fact, I would prefer Obama go back into campaign mode like he did yesterday. Everything the man touches fails, including every Democratic candidate he has campaigned for since he became President.

Here are a few pictures from the day's events...

Used with collectors edition Obama youth kiddie chalk. Available at a DNC office near you!

There's the guy!

God showing the boy king who is boss. Or is that a massive cloud of debt??

"Anyone who wants to be an idiot and vote for me a second time, line up right here...."

"Bwaaaga, blahggesa, Oba-aaa-ama, goobala, blawaga, Obaaaama, freeee health care, waar over, goooga, booga Bama..........."

It was a productive day for the President.

Crooked NFL official Bill Leavy does his best to help the Packers win...

Talk about blatant corrupt officiating. Kudos to the New York Giants for silencing the overrated Packers and sticking it to the referees who did their very best to help Green Bay win. Especially Bill Leavy.

"Pay me enough and I'll make sure you win...."
First we have an instance where the Packers complete a pass to Greg Jennings and the ball is stripped^ before he hits the ground. Giants challenge, giving the officials ample time to review the play in slow-mo replay. The result of this call only proves that this official, or maybe all of them, have a hidden agenda besides calling a fair game.

This play was clearly a fumble and Bill Leavy, a lifelong Packers fan I take it, doesn't do his job. What highlight was he looking at? Either he is a paid off official or he shouldn't be officiating games if he can't make a simple, obvious call that even a 12 year old could see. He should be fired!

But wait. We aren't through yet. A quarter later, the New York Giants get a first down on a short run- wait, what? Why did Bill Leavy place the ball a full YARD and a HALF behind where the runner was down? Why, to prevent New York from driving any further, stop the momentum, and give Green Bay the ball of course.

Fast forward to the 4th quarter. The Packers are reeling after another fumble and touchdown by the Giants. The Packers have the ball, down 30-13, and Aaron "untouchable" Rogers with his little yellow dress get plastered on a completely clean hit on 3rd down. In runs Bill Leavy to the Packers rescue, calling a ridiculous helmet to helmet "roughing the passer", giving the Packers a fresh set of downs and new life. This coming right after a series where Eli Manning took a ridiculous late hit by Clay Matthews that wasn't called.

Bill Leavy gave it all he got, but it just wasn't enough. Well done Giants!

(this isn't the first time this has happened....)

Vikings punter Chris Kluwe whines about playing conditions.

Tonight's showdown between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings promises to be an epic, classic battle that will be talked about for years to come.

Bears. Vikings. Outdoor football. Minnesota. December. A forecast calling for 6 more inches of snow as I speak one hour prior to kickoff.

This is football!

What wasn't included in that list? Vikes punter Chris Kluwe complaining the conditions and the field are too dangerous. This coming from a man who makes over a million dollars a year, including receiving 1.7 mil just for signing, to kick a ball for a living! Of course, his wimpy ramblings came in the form of a tweet, in an all too common reminder of our disconnected, weak society of twits.

Sit back Chrissy and let the real men play. I will be looking forward to this matchup!

Oh, Go Bears!

Revolutionary Communists Praise Chicago Teachers Strike!

What a shocker.

From the "Revolutionary Communist Progressive Labor Party":

The situation is ripe with possibility, but without communist politics, these workers in struggle can turn cynical. This is because the ruling class has only begun to attack education workers and our students. We will not be able to beat back all the attacks, no matter how militantly we fight. As long as the capitalists are running things the workers will be left behind.
The capitalists’ plans for our students include war, low-wage jobs or unemployment and a tightening of restrictions to prevent fight-back. The implementation of Common Core State Standards, gives the bosses free reign to impose national standards with no opposition from local teachers. The proliferation of charter schools and online “learning” are all aimed at busting the teachers’ unions. These reforms help the capitalists carry out their plans, no matter how many slogans they develop claiming this is all to benefit the students.
All of the rally speakers represented labor unions. One speaker was from the FOP, Fraternal Order of Police. Teachers should not be uniting with the cops who brutalize their students!
The ruling-class attacks hit black and Latino students the hardest, and is the reason education “reforms” are pushed the hardest in urban areas. Chicago, whose public school students are only 8% white, is a test in many ways.  Workers around the world have sent messages of support and millions are rooting for a successful strike. Whatever gains may be won, will be temporary as long as the capitalists continue to rule. The role of Progressive Labor Party in spreading its message of communism in this strike will be heard worldwide.

Organized labor going hand in hand with revolutionary Communism. Democrats love this stuff! FORWARD to universal utopia Comrades!
