What people are saying about Joe Biden's debate performance.

"I just don't think you should be laughing while discussing thermonuclear war with Iran."
---Tom Brokaw, NBC News

"I've ever seen a debate in which one participant was as openly disrespectful of the other as Biden was to Paul Ryan tonight."
---Chris Wallace, Fox News

"Joe, seriously stop smirking. This is serious stuff. Be vice presidential."
---Piers Morgan, CNN

"Last night Mr. Biden was weirdly aggressive, if that is the right word for someone who grimaces, laughs derisively, interrupts, hectors, rolls his eyes, browbeats and attempts to bully. He meant to dominate, to seem strong and no-nonsense. Sometimes he did—he had his moments. But he was also disrespectful and full of bluster."
---Peggy Noonan, WSJ

"You don’t win a nationally televised debate by being rude and obnoxious. You don’t win by interrupting your opponent time after time after time or by being a blowhard. You don’t win with facial expressions, especially smirks or fake laughs, or by pretending to be utterly exasperated with what your opponent is saying."
---Fred Barnes, Weekly Standard

"He was condescending at times to Paul Ryan. I think I could have done with a lot less eye-rolling and chuckling on the part of Joe Biden."
---Gloria Borger, CNN

"The smile, the laugh. I think a lot of people maybe view that and think that he was a little too hot, too aggressive, maybe condescending."
---David Gregory, NBC News

"I thought it was rude and I have a feeling it will come across to a lot of people as rude. It looked like a cranky old man to some extent debating a polite young man."
---Brit Hume, Fox News

"If you put them all together and you end up with television where you saw the demeanor that the Vice President had in regard to Ryan, I think that undid the advantage in rhetoric that he had in carrying the debate. It was so disrespectful. I agree with Chris Wallace, it was sort of almost unprecedented and hugely condescending. I think that undid the force of his arguments and I think in the end, if television, you lose."
---Charles Krauthammer, Fox News

"Just as Al Gore sighed and rolled his eyes in 2000, so Biden smirked and guffawed. He gesticulated wildly and jabbed his finger. He interrupted Ryan and the moderator Martha Raddatz. Many women and swing voters will have hated it."
---Toby Harnden, Daily Mail

It was unbecoming of a VP, let alone the next in line to the presidency.
I thought both made their points well throughout the debate, But Mr. Chuckles screwed himself with his demeanor.
CNN poll take afterword’s, showed Ryan won the debate 48-44

I was a Delaware Republican for 23 years before I moved to my present location. In our circles Biden was always referred to as "that horse's ass" -- never anything else, except maybe some stuff it's to rude to print.

If you get people like tom Brokenjaw and David Gregory to break ranks and pan Biden, Biden must hve been REALLY bad -- and he was.

Come read about it and talk it over some more at

He'll get his payoff for this performance in November, the jerk.

The funny thing is, had Mr. Biden's arguments truly been superior to Ryan's, he wouldn't have needed the histrionics, he could have just calmly presented his case. Instead, he acted the buffoon, not worthy of the trust of the American people.

All one needs to remember is that Biden was putting on a show for his deranged base. The reason he acted like an asshole is so his asshole supporters would be fired up.

Lets hope that we wipe the stupid smirk off his face in November.
