Kathy Witterick said her 4-month-old baby Storm should be able to develop its own sexual identity without having to conform to social stereotypes or bow to predetermined expectations associated with gender.
Witterick, 38, and her husband, David Stocker, 39, have faced a backlash since the couple's story first appeared in the Toronto Star last weekend. Witterick says their critics are being judgmental.
Witterick said in an email Friday that the idea that "the whole world must know what is between the baby's legs is unhealthy, unsafe and voyeuristic. We know — and we're keeping it clean, safe, healthy and private (not secret!)."
Here is the very core of the modern day secular progressive movement that transcends borders. Complete opposition to anything of substance and reason. Newsflash....gender isn't just about what's between someone's legs....PERVS! I am sick and tired of this foolishness from "enlightened" progressives. These Berkeley types who sip their lattes and put their Che bumper stickers on their Smart Cars are dangerous. Any sliver of tradition is their enemy, including the Constitution and anything else of principle. It is a duty to be odd and rebellious to them. Well, I try to be as professional and withheld as much as I can on here but these people make me sick! They make me want to vomit. I can't even put into words how much far left liberals piss me off. These types of stories come out of the woodwork these days as our country, and our world, continues to drift away from traditional principles to an era of secular humanistic totalitarian rule.
Whether they like it or not, that baby is either a setter or a pointer, and I ain't talkin' 'bout bird dogs!
