Mother Earth Murders Hundreds More In Chilean Earthquake. Where are you James Cameron?

A mammoth 8.8 magnitude earthquake rocked Chile early today, killing at least at least 147 people and displacing God knows how many.

Here is some raw footage of the disaster...

Mother Earth is at it again! Hows that for your green, tree hugging, nature worshiping, liberal utopia James Cameron?

Just since our calenders flipped to 2010 we've seen...

  • 230,000 people killed, 300,000 people injured, and 1,000,000 people displaced by an earthquake in Haiti
  • 1,000 people displaced by an earthquake in the Solomon Islands
  • 43 people killed and at least 100 injured in floods and mudslides near Portugal
  • 225 people killed in snowstorms in India and Nepal
  • 30 people killed in snowstorms in Bangladesh
  • 159 people killed in snowstorms across Europe
  • 28 people killed in a snowstorm in Mexico
  • 274 people killed in avalanches in Pakistan and Afghanistan
  • 85 people killed and 4,000 people displaced by floods in Brazil
I'll do the math for you. That's 1,535,944 people killed, injured, or displaced by Mother Nature just in the 2 months of 2010 alone. So much for James Cameron's Gaia worship. Looks like the all knowing, pristine, oneness of nature is more like a big red eyed killing machine that the American soldiers he so loves to demonize could never compare to. Hmm, funny, it will probably be American soldiers rushing to the aid of the devastated people in Chili, just as we did in Haiti. Aint that somethin'.

  1. She's cranky because she's got a temperature and we refused at Copenhagen to give here trillions of dollars in aspirins

  2. Thank God we have a military presence which can help these folks.

    God and the soldier,
    we adore.
In time of danger, and not before.
When the danger's past, and things are righted:
    God forgotten,
    the soldier slighted.
